dear as u said i should leave the date of expiry in national identity card blank but dear we can not leave it blank as we have to put a date otherwise we can not validate it ? what u did ? so what do u say should i write the imm008 by hand and send them and tell me them reason that why i could not validate or i have to select a random date which one is better ?
and also about c print out ? what do u say as it says submit original option c print out for the tax year that you submitted the original sponsorship application as i started original in mid 2009 so what u did ? as my income was more in 2008 and in 2009 it is still more than lico but if it only needs 2008 so i send that but what do u say

Putting an ID is not compulsory. I didnt put any and my case went to ottawa.

my mom had PAN no. but no expiry date........Infact india doesnt have any national id, until aadhar is fully implemented.

I submitted the paperwork for my parents in march 2008
Received the letter requesting the rest of the documents by November 2011 and sent the package by mid February 2012.
How do I check if it was sent to the Visa office abroad? Could somebody help me with this?
Also, I would like to be an sponsor for my sister in a Humanitarian and Compassionate Grounds case but I do not know if this would harm somehow the case of my parents, my husband and me we earn more than 160000 a year and do not have kids, I do not think is a problem but I would like to check, after all this wait the last thing I would like to do is harm my parent's process somehow :s...

Your sister has to apply and that category ( I assume she is in Canada on visitor visa ) is not easy, I tried for my folks and unless they see dire straits..they don't approve, their reasoning is very different as they see other side of the spectrum and has to be close t life/death situation. She will obviously mention you in the explanation and they will see that you applied for parents, and although, that wouldn't jeopardize their case but it can open a can of worms. Consult a immigration lawyer ( not any consultant ) before you proceed

National Card is not necessary and passport is not national ID, thus a different section

Oh, no, unfortunately not (I did not have time and was not sure if someone else has already done that.

I see that there is a menu option in google docs called 'See revision history' (disabled for me)
I am wondering if that allows to restore a past version by any chance (I doubt it though...never used that option)

I think I was not clear in my earlier response. select NO where the question asks "Do you have a National Identity document" - You will not be asked for expiry date. Then validate the form. You may choose to attach an additional sheet. You have details on what to write in additional sheet from my earlier response to you. I selected NO to the above question and I did NOT attach any additional sheet for any kind of explanation. You haven't told that from which country you are from. My parents are from India, and we do not have a national identity document. We do have election commission card, however I doubt that it is considered as national identity document. We also have PAN number, which is equivalent to SIN number in Canada. But I do not consider PAN number from India as a national identity document.

For Option C, I have responded in my earlier response to my best knowledge. If your income was higher than LICO in 2008 and 2009, just submit option C for both years. It is up to you to decide what year Option C to send. If I were you, I would have sent all Option C for all years starting from 2008. When in doubt, send everything you could.
