IN DOCUMENT CHECKLIST CIC ASKED About OPTION C PRINT OUT
1. Submit an original Option C Print out for the tax year that you submitted the original sponsorship application
i have asked some people about this as people have different words about it to explain can u guys please explain or those of u if got such request what u guys say
As i Submitted original sponsorship application in mid 2009 so should i submit 2008 c print out or 2009 ? which one does it mean ?
I ASK ALL OF U GUYS TO REPLY I REALLY APPRECIATE
THANKS ALOT

As you mentioned, you have already asked this question and you have got different answers. Posting the same question again would fetch another answer. Just to be on the safer side, send Option C for both 2008 and 2009.

hello guys
I HAVE QUESTION ABOUT VALIDATING IMM008 OR NOT ?
THERE is a problem with entering expiry date of national identity card as our birth country does not have any expiry date on the national identity card as i called cic the agent told me not to validate just print and fill the form and write the reason for not validating it ? but some say here that just validate by putting a random expiry date on national identity card? so my question is which one is better? as two agents from cic said dont need to validate as just fill it and send them but some here say put random date and explain so which one is better? i really appreciate if u guys reply
thanks alot

Which country are you from?

You can leave the national identity card field blank. I left it blank. Attach a separate explanation sheet stating that you have a national identity card from your home country, but without expiry date. And that is why you could not put national identity card in IMM0008 form, as you were not able to validate the form without having put the expiry date. Attach a photocopy of national identity card as well. You are good after having explained your situation. Just because of question on national identity card, it is not a good idea to NOT validate IMM0008.

I received e-mail this morning:

Due to the high volume of correspondence received, we are unable to provide status update. The officer responsible for your file will contact you if any action is required from you. Please note the standard service time for Family Class application is twelve months from the date you received notice from Case Processing Centre Mississauga. In the meantime, please ensure your contact information with us is up-to-date.

just received the same e-mail :)

By mail, regular.

Yay Teri!!! Congratulations. Files are moving in Vienna! Wish you all the best in the rest of the process.

I got the letter, the parent.

Just one question, Teri. Did you provide your own address in the Mailing Address section or did you designate your sponsor as your representative?

I got the letter, the parent.

The status on eCAS change today on the Permanent Resident Application (3rd Column on Line 2). The line 2 now says "DECISION MADE" under sponsorship and "APPLICATION RECEIVED" under Permanent Resident Application. When I click the Application Received, the detail page shows "We received NAME's application for permanent residence on June 3, 2008.". Earlier there was nothing on this page. My file was transferred to Ottawa on April 10. Looks like they have started working on the file now. Any idea from members with files transferred to Ottawa before April 10th.??

it's my first posting.
How CIC informed you that your file has been moved to LVO? How do you know that?
Acceptation leter received on March 8, medicals request April 3rd, my father made today medicals.

mine is Officer NW, but my file went to ottawa

but the letter doesnt specifically say that " Your file has been transferred to Ottawa".

It just lists Ottawa's detailed contact info and asks u to contact ottawa for any updates/enquiries.

I think you are getting confused with LVO. So far, no one has had any updates on their status (transfer of files to LVO) after submitting medicals to Ottawa. The LVO's being discussed here pertain to those applicants whose files were sent by CPC-M to LVOs for further processing. Not Ottawa forwarding the files to LVOs after medicals.

Mohalite same thing happened for me, only difference is that line 1 changed for me instead of Line 2.

Earlier line 1 "PR application" was blank. Now it shows "We received NAME's application for permanent residence on Jan __,2009"

Mohalite plz add timelines in ur profile..............see my signature

Thank you Sakamath, all the best to you also. And to everyone else. We were waiting patiently for more than 4 years.
I hope that I`ll pass the examinations.
Mailing address is my own, not sponsor`s.
