I understand you feeling and I am helpless.

we thought of bringing to our parents to Canada when its really needed, so we postponed Sponsorship.

I was sort of unfortunate but with little hope. we applied in the month of Sep 2011 and in the month of Nov 2011 they have closed the door.

and they have sent all the communication via email to an email address that was compromised.

in this process we lost time, now they say I am being place in the Queue


will it be possible to share your story, so that we could take some corrective steps

Here is my complicated timeline
On March 2007 I submitted sponsorship application for my family ( 5 persons) with my ex husband
On April 2007 I received a letter, it said they received my application
On December 2009, supporting documentation from cosignor and myself but we divorced on May 2009 so I only sent mine
2010 I asked for changing new Cosignor (my current husband) but it wasn't allow
August 2011 I received a package for my family filled out and sent to Singapore then lately we sent , my application sit in Singapore for almost 2 years so I could not wait any longer then my current husband still submit our new circumstances because we had a boy on May 2011 and changed address
Then another girl was born in 2012, updated again
But nothing we heard from them so my current husband emailed our local MP, they emailed on behalf of us then we found out that my application was refused on sept 2013 ( we didn't receive this letter) then they resent on Jan 2014
Emailed back and forth to MP, we asked for appeal
So on Sept 2014 they set for my appeal date but the day before hearing they called me for cancellation , reason was they did not have enough time to review my files
Then we waited, waited until we couldn't wait any longer we emailed to MP again so they could ask when reset my appeal date
finally we got an appeal on March 2016 then we won
Now waiting for next steps ,my guess r medical exam and visa stamps

Does anyone take 9 years for family sponsorship processing like me? But it's not done yet, just win the appeal yesterday

What was the reason of the refusal at first prior to proceeding with Appeal though?

Medicals were done in August heard last from then in Decembercontacted the MP last month and he said our medicals are passed eligibility assessment is in process and background checks are in process. Should we contact the Mp again? Please suggest

It was because MNI undertaking wasn't enough but they allowed us if we show them humanitarian and compassionate reasons

my ecas of permanet resident box new delhi box shows in process but when i open it ...they did not write we started your file this date ..nothing is showing in that box . only 1 point application recived on this date ... but box show in process

no its not stamped yet and i havd not submitted passports yet
