No, nothing news from them. :( I would like to know that on the email did they request u reply to them via email? And about me they didn't mention reply via email, but I have chosen to scan as PDF of copy notarized all of school and send back to them via email. Do u think it is fine? Now I'm waiting medical request. On happy new year I hope we will get good news from them soon.

If they wanted notarized copy I think you may need to send the actual notarized copy you got done and not just scan copy.

yes they mentioned to us that reply via email. You have not done medicals yet? Our medicals were done in August and additional documents were also asked after that and more documents again and noe I guess this was the last thing which they asked. Hoping for ppr very soon. :o...happy to receive the passports with stamped visas after 90 months....Question- 1- is it possible to land in Toronto instead of Vancouver, the city for landing as mentioned in documents received from embassy? 2- is it necessary for sponsor to be present in Canada while the sponsored person landed in Canada?
Good luck to all .....planning to travel in March

Hi guys,

After doing my medicals and resubmit documents that the immigration asked me before. They came up lately with a new request asking me to submit a criminal records from RCMP since i lived in Canada for more than 6 months, immigration asked RCMP directly however RCMP said that i have to submit my fingerprint which i did since august 17 2015.The problem is that i ve been charged in canada back in 2011 but not convicted and i don t know if it will screw up my application or if it even gonna be in my criminal records file. Thanks for ur help. Please also noted that when i did my medical exams back in december 2014 they requested to send my passport since february the 3 rd 2015 and they sill got it.Guess ill have to do my medicals again.is it a bad sign showing according to you guys that they want to refuse

Hello Everyone,

I am filling out the application for my Mother under 2016 PGP.
I am almost complete with my paperwork however given the nature where she is physically brings few doubts in my mind regarding her country of residence and mailing address correspondence.
My Mother:
She is a citizen of India and holds an Indian passport. She is currently in USA with my brother on visitor visa until Feb. 15th 2016. She also holds a Super visa from Canada which she will use to enter Canada in Feb. 2016 to come and stay for some time with me. As we all know the 2016 PGP application intake opens on 4th Jan 2016. Following are my doubts which I need some mentoring from some of you here in the community:

1. Form - Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008]
Question 10: Current country of Residence: United States of America Visitor 2015-xx-xx to 2016-02-xx
Question 11: It is blacked out.
Question 12: Previous countries of Residence other than Country of Citizenship if more than 6 months. Filled Canada Visitor from 2014-03-xx to 2014-12-xx as she stayed for more than 6 months with me last year on super visa.

CONTACT INFORMATION
Mailing Address: Sponsor Address i.e. My address in Canada
Residential Address: What should be the best Address here? Can I give Mine (Canada)or Brother (USA where she is currently living) or her native country where she is a citizen of India? And do we fill in the Representative form if mailing and Residential address will be different?

2. Form - 8. Additional Family Information [IMM 5406]
Section A: My mother details with her present address of USA where she is staying in with my brother.

a. Please advice if the answers for the Form IMM 0008 are correct?
b. Please advice what should be the correct Mailing and Residential Address. Really struggling here.
c. IS the Address in Form IMM 5406 is also correct?

I would appreciate the people reading my queries and taking time to help me with completing my forms.
Thanks,

Congratulations for having ppts returned. Now landing remains.

1. Yes, but address needs to remain same as that of sponsor, since CIC assume that parents/dependents will stay with sponsor. But yes port-of-entry to Canada can be Toronto.
2. Theoretically yes. When parents land, they should just give address for PR Card to the immigration officials at airport. No need to discuss anything about future plans, etc. Sponsor is responsible for the landed family so if they need to be out of the country, it should be temporary for work, or some emergency purpose, etc. Remember there is still the 10-yr undertaking for parental sponsorship, just don't screw that and CIC won't really care (in my opinion). Tell them not to volunteer un-necessary information or ask un-necessary questions.

Most people here do not have any idea about criminal records.
Please check with a lawyer or someone qualified about this.

LICO for 8 people in 2015 was $69576. But for new parent sponsorship applications after 2011 you need LICO plus 30% for PGP applications.
which means for 2015 your amount is $90448.80 for eight people
