It depends from case to case. I did my re-medicals in March 2013 and decision not made yet. It went to in-process on Dec 16, 2013. However, I think mine is an exceptional case and the long strike action included. It shouldn't take that long in general.

Was dere any problm in ur first medicals??? Or it expires generally..

No problems. It expired as the processing was delayed in general.

Yours or PA ( doesnt matter ) and send via courier, it simply needs to be attached to your file

I thnk one should fill the info of sponser not of PA in receipt of RPRF so called landing fees. I got letter suggesting the same from lvo delhi

Thanks frnds... I have one confusion..as I am in canada and i am dependant and my parents are coming from India... will the immigration at the airport will ask my parents about my passport ?? That where's you other depandant?? Do I have to give authorization letter to my parents to bring my passport to canada??

H&C cases has almost no chance of winning (depending on cases) specially in this govt. when you already have sponsorship in process why do you want to pursue for H&C?

my dependent came to canada on student visa, subsequently applied for refugee claim, which was denied. lawyer advised to try H&C. recently submitted additional doc request to cic for the sponsorship including parents and the dependent. not sure if these other applications will affect the sponsorship file, any thoughts would be appreciated. if the sponsorship got processed faster, i didnt need to go through all this mess

HC is reserved basically for those who will have extreme hardship if they return back home. The case is rather simple, he came here on student visa and applied for refugee and now HC - and the same time you are applying to sponsor him from home country.

There is absolutely no inclination of any hardship or issues since your folks are there and can take care of him. This is an easy denial, don't waste your money for H&C, send him back and let him come on proper sponsored visa
