Passports will come within a week of DM ( general timeline ), your parents ( Principal Applicant ) has to land first and then you can simply Flagpole after that, no issues

As far as I know, they basically ask about work involved etc, and 1 case it was simply termed as interview but they were actually called to give fingerprints as they had visited Canada before

Hi friends... my case was in oct 2009. Medicals were done in july 2013..application in process on 24 jan 2014 ...and now decision made on feb 13 2014.. what u think how many days it will take for passports to come... I am worried that was like 3 weeks from when ecas changed to in process ...

hey, many congrats to you first... just wanna know one thing.. i have pretty much same timeline as yours... bt ecas ain't showing any things like "medical recieved " so just tell me did your status change to medical received first and then... or it went straight to "in process"

Did your medical wnt wrong?? Thatz y u havent got dat statement n ur ecas regarding medical received??? Is dere any medical history f applicants at u guyz disclose or got revealed before panel physician????? Bcz it usually took 2 mnths max .

Oh nahi yaar, Everyone is absolutely fit and fine... NO medical history... not a single problem with med..... not even BP.... i dont knw whats happening ?? looks like deep shit.... but yeah i went to the hospitals for the enquiry that whether they sent it or not. They said we send it long back and gave me 3 tracking sheet, what they call e-medical... with all the test and dates....The dates are all from the month of june.... but in one of the column of my dad who is principal applicant the date mention ahead of column name "Medical Examination" "date reffered/finalised" is december 2013... ANY IDEA ABOUT THIS BRO..? DID THEY FUCKED US...??

Can someone guide with setting some time expectations.

Hope someone could! But i got my own issues here... Just wanna knw one thing, assuming that you mistakenly wrote aug 2014 instead of august 2013.... Have u checked on your ecas status... Did it change to medical received yet....? Cz in my case no change....

Very big of ND to agree but case transfers delay cases usually - order notes to see where it stands coz you are looking at dealing with 2 LVO's for follow ups

Yes, and notes showed that meds never reached and New Delhi said we never got them - thus not a good sign

Well, seems that is not the case (atleast that is how it feels like), as the case is only with NDVO for now. What the Consulate wrote back to the referring MP that it was better to leave the case with ND as the transfer will be much easier after approval. In fact it was nice of the local MP to call NDVO (which probably would have been in the middle of night) and follow up by email. That really helped as the communication office in the NDVO made his personal suggestions based on what he thought to be the best route to take. We were give the option to transfer but they indicated will be a longer route. The case is only transferred within the GCMS and after approval the physical file is not transferred. Generally that process takes 2-3 extra weeks.
