I dont know buddy. I am very hopeful for January and February. The location of paper file is Registry. What does it mean?

I do not know what Registry means but I can tell you that your file probably has 3 more stages of processing. The sequence of locations as per my GCMS notes is:

ALU -> FCU-CA Room -> Registry -> FCU-FCR -> SC01504 -> FCU-DIS

The last stage is decision making stage.

Hi everyone !

We'd sponsored my mother and brother in June 2010. we hope that the CIC will send document request letter next batch for next year. My brother was 17 years when we applied. Last year, he was finished high school (grade 12). Nowadays he do not continue to study at university, but he only study English full or part time at private school.
So my question that can he study English full time or part time at private school? Or he must go to study at university?

Thanks in advance for participation.

How many times have you ordered GCMS? How long will it take now, any idea?

I have ordered GCMS notes only once and got them two weeks ago. My idea is that it could take some more time for you. A few months I guess but again this is just a guess as per my experience and can happen sooner or later.

You are right. If he is a dependent, he does not have to study. I was 21 when I applied for PR in 2007 and I was a student then. I finished studies and I am working now. I am still a dependent in my file. Most people have this misconception to keep studying to be considered as a dependent. Not true.

hmmm, I tried searching but only one I could find is in ND 2013 thread, he had DIS 2012 and is still waiting

I assumed it was FCU-RFV = Ready for Visa?

Is there anywhere it confirms these things? - some said DIS = Delhi Immigration Section

I got DIS as Decision stage from one of the forum members. I tried looking for such info a lot on the internet but couldn't get any.

you are absolutely right as i was 18 year old at time of app filed in 2008 and they asked about my studies at final background check in mid of 2013 and we have submitted my bachelor program along with letter which was on Institute's Letter head because i am still in course..
If you are in Fulltime studies it is good for your case

May be then. I know a few dependents who were continuously enrolled in full-time studies only for visa purpose but did not get the visa unfortunately.
