todays more than 2010 days has passed. the time when we applied for sponsership cic and chc processing timing was 35months and 31months at LVO. in 2008 after that every year these time frames going-up , on step1 they took arround 54months to transfer our file here in delhi and now they're holding passports for year n more....

next year in May, i will turn 24 and feeling like ruining all my career and goals, we are stuck in dis ffu!ckin shiittt...... having fake hopes....... m a animation student and was planning to do specialization in VFX(visual effects n digital films) but thought to do dere in vancouver from VFS after getting dis PR status n now i cant stand anymore loosing hope ,even dunno how long would it take to decision made... it was not our fault why did they sleep so long and getup in last 2011, me n sister are Type-A still why we are w8ing so long ............seriously wanna cry loud
datz true dear same happening 2 me we all r ruining our carrers . we all r stuck dis s disgusting frm their side . ma frnds already got pr who entered tcanada through study visa by sum means. I thought m fortunate dat m getting pr trough dis process bt nw m pitty n maslf only god knws wat happens nxt

Just wana share updated info with you all.

File status IN PROCESS from last two months. Actually, after the IN PROCESS, received medical exam request and 15 days ago another line added in the ecas- medical results have been received.

Still waiting for any progress. Usually, in most cases, medical exams were completed before status change of IN PROCESS, but in our case it looks like they are following a different process..... Otherwise after the IN PROCESS, it only takes 10 days or so get the passports back having visa stamped on it.

Hey a31, In police/Army backgrounds it takes a bit longer i guess. My dad is in police, We Submitted police detail forms on October 30, 2013. Our medical expires dec 6th, 2013. I dont know what next to expect. Dont know Whether they are gonna issue visas or request an interview. its critical when it comes to Police/Army background checks. :(

i knw 2 cases where after in-process they hav asked extra information(1-original doc. of dependent,2-finger prints).
although in few other cases they usually update Decision made after 8-10 days...so,dnt knw what lies ahead..
I hope it better be Decion Made..all d Best..

Does anyone know how long more can it take for further enquiries in police/army cases. I heard in some cases it takes upto 18 months. Can somebody shed some light whether its less time in police/army case under the new immigration system, whether it requires an interview or direct visas can be issued??? any comments??
