We need to see the action from them, not words only...

Thank you very much for your reply. That's strange - it looks like CPC-M is working on applications in a random way - how come they opened your file that was received by them on August 20 after the applications received by them in October?
Any way...I guess that is the way it should go...no one can understand them.

No.

My parents went backhome in june 2013.
They still have a valid visitor visa untill December 2013 but due to some reason they went back to india.
Do you know how long it will take to get medical request through email now?

CPC-Ottawa is pretty fast. You can expect the medical request from them any time before this year ends.

That would be totally unfair if the CIC decide to proccess the new applications earlier than the ones are in the backlog. But we can never know - I will not be surprised if the newly received applications will be processed and finalized within the year of 2014.

i have question ... my mother is here i have applied for her but we don't have merriage certificate for my mother and there is no way we can get it as its before 42 years and my father is not there.can you please help me what kind of letter we have to attach.do you have copy or format for that.

Hey,

Don't worry about marriage certificate, you can go to court and print one affidavit with proper attestation from your mother side and you can send that.Even i did the same....CIC accept affidavit.

unfortunately I have experience on this matter. I recall that there were some postings on this forum related to this issue. Try to google it on this thread.

Here is one of the postings I've found - posted by sakamath.

Marriage certificate is necessary. However, it is common that parents may not have them (back in their days, it may not have been mandatory to register a marriage). If marriage certificate is not available, your parents would have to submit an affidavit signed by a notary affirming that they had married on so-and-so date, place. In that affidavit, also provide the dates they were born and the details of their children.

Do you have income complication? as we knew someone last year who waited longer and got refused as they didn't have enough income ( atleast with the required form, not sure what it was called, the one from the CRA ) and they still forwarded file to their home country like vienna or something, as something like final decision will be taken there if they want to to allow
