Thank you and keep us postedSuin said:They will definitely assess your sponsorship application by the amount of members of your family in respective years. You shouldn't worry about it at all! Everything will be great!
Thats how it isThepas said:Isn't weird to see tht my ecas displays two columns.

I checked today with my dad's uci # and it shows the application for pr recvd on Xxxxx2010.
congratss that is great news,,,and hope we also will get visa before medical expiresToronto_pta said:Finally, I have some good news to share.
This is what happened in last 3 days.
- My parents' medicals expire on Aug 21 (Wednesday)
- They received a call on Friday afternoon that ur visa is ready, pick it up on Monday if you can make it to Canada by Wednesday or go through medical checks process again.
- Of course they decided to take the offer to pick up visa on Monday.
- Picked up the visa in-person from Delhi Consulate this morning.
- Booked the only available tickets for today, obviously very very expensive and they are on their way. Despite the expense,I guess the pain is over.
Wish good luck to all the people waiting. Just few details of my case again for your reference.
Applied: Oct 2007
Transferred to Ottawa pilot project Jan 2012
All documents asked for and submitted in March 2012
Medicals done Aug 21 2012
Passports submitted directly to ND consulate in Oct 2012
DECISION MADE status since Jan 2013. (yes that's right)
Received visa on Aug 19.
The same is with mine, though in all of them I can see that application was received in 2010.Thepas said:Isn't weird to see tht my ecas displays two columns.

Medicals expire exactly one year after the date on which the first x-ray was taken. Nothing can be done except wait. Toronto_pta's parents got a call from NDVO and gave three days to enter Canada (otherwise, the medicals would have expired). That's how CIC works.inlaw said:HELLO friends i have some questions ...please share your experiance
when does the medical expire as its for 1 year....?
is its from the date its done ....or the date its recieved by CIC.
What are the chances that Visa can be issued before medical expires.....?
ANY ADVISE WHAT CAN BE DONE.....OR RATHER WAIT... :'(
I wouldn't raise my hopes - even if the strike got over today. CIC would continue to maintain the quota they have in place for parents/grandparents category. :'(sumi_0530 said:I came to know that today will be some hearing Between PAFSO and Labor federation whatever about strike.
I hope strike will come to an end today
Fingers crossed.sumi_0530 said:I came to know that today will be some hearing Between PAFSO and Labor federation whatever about strike.

Well... They are way behind in eeting that quota, they will have to catch up with it any way.sakamath said:I wouldn't raise my hopes - even if the strike got over today. CIC would continue to maintain the quota they have in place for parents/grandparents category. :'(
