Good day,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

If your inquiry is related to IRCC special measures to help temporary and permanent residents and applicants affected by the novel coronavirus (COVID‑19), all pertinent information is available at the following link: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-special-measures.html

If your request is urgent or if you wish to submit an update or documents, we recommend that you do so via our IRCC Web form.

Hey everyone, hope you can help me with a simple question. We just did our medical exam a couple of weeks ago. And have not heard anything (no letters or correspondence to our e-mails). However, when checking the account updates on IRCC, the latest update is "you passed the medical exam (with the date)".

I don't want to get my hopes up only to be disappointed. My question is do they send you a letter stating that you passed the medical exam, or does it just update on the IRCC site only? I don't want to get falsly excited about a weird glitch or anything like that. Thank you in advance!
No, i don't think they send a separate letter saying you passed the medical. Others can weigh in here but i believe they don't send a separate letter for this, they just update the status on the account.

Thanks for the thoughts. That does seem to be the case, judging from the other replies I've had and things I've read elsewhere. I'll breathe easier once I get an obvious next step instructions. But it's encouraging news. Good luck everyone!

Hi Guys, A quick question, my parents have super visa and they have been India since we submitted the file, and are currently waiting for background check to complete.
Can they come to Canada and deposit their Passports in Canada if they are prompted to send their passport?
They can travel to Canada as long as their super visa is valid and have valid insurance.

If you submitted for PGP 2024, it still a long way before they will get COPR.
At that time, if they are inside Canada, you can inform IRCC and go thought the virtual landing process inside Canada and do not need to send their passport. Passport stamping outside may have a more predicable timing vs virtual landing at this moment. But who knows what happen in the next 6 months or year.
