Update Guys: Got Medical and PCC request for my Mom

Did any one got Australian PCC (my mom (Indian citizen) travelled to Australia and stayed over 6 months) ? She was in Victoria ,do we need DL info too ?

I got an email saying I have 30 days from the date on the letter to submit their passports to the passport office that they had assigned for me.

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, your permanent residence visa.

And also the steps to prep the documents, like sending two photos with the given requirements, letting them know if their status has chanegd , proof that we paid Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF), height and eye color and that everything should go in one package.

That's about it basically

Hello, did you submit your PCC without them asking for it?

Yes, I submitted the PCC without IRCC asking for it because I figured that was the only thing left for me as at that time. I submitted it via webform and obviously it was a right move because I was never ask to provide it again.

I had received COPR on 9th august to submit Passport through VFS Global Chennai. Received acknowledgement of receipt of Passport on 20 aug 24. Unable to Track with any type ID, no. etc. In the meanwhile I got another letter to submit passport on 28 Aug 2024. I am at my wits end. Can anybody guide..

I also got a single mail to Principal applicant without any mention of dependent applicant.

Parents' medicals were passed on July 17th. Since then nothing. They have not been asked about a PCC yet. What could be there possible reasons for the silence since the medicals?

I’d get the PCC and provide them anyway without them asking to speed up the process.

IRCC won’t be issuing additional PPR letter for dependents as the letter clearly mentions to submit passport for principal applicant and dependents (if applicable) in ONE envelope.

That being said, VFS has done a good job confusing people by asking us to provide passports in separate envelopes for each applicant just to increase their revenue.

When I uploaded PCC via webform, I didn’t come across such a question. To be clear again, I ran a demo using same link I previously had and no such question came up. Note the link I used here

I also got a single mail to Principal applicant without any mention of dependent applicant.

Only one letter in the name of pricipal applicant and no mention of name the dependant accompanying family member. The letter specifically asking to send all passports in one packet, but VFS asking us to send in two packets and all charges for two.

Can I apply for super visa for my mother while I am waiting for her PR application to process ? If I apply should I explain anything ?

I applied in Dec 2023 after getting the invite last year (Oct 2023), received request for additional documents (proof of relationship) in April 2024, linked the application on July 11 2024, but I have not heard back since then. I read on the forum that a lot of members got the biometric and medical request but I haven't, and I am planning on putting her super visa application now, while we wait for PR application to proceed. Any things to be mindful of ?

You can apply for the super visa . You do not need to explain anything.
I applied for my parents visa after applying for PR in Nov 2023 and they got the Visa in month .

What is portal 1 and 2? Is this different then passport request?
