Hi,, I'm confused about signing these forms.. Should these forms must be printed and hand signed or can type the names

1. Use of representative IMM5476
2. Parents and grandparent Financial Eval IMM5768
3. IM1344 (unable to save without signatures as we must validate and for that need signatures)

Please advise.

Problem is that my parents are travelling back to India in 6 weeks. I'd really appreciate it if you could help me with these queries:

1) Do we need to submit parents' original passports to BLS for 6-8weeks along with the PCC application? I am asking because the BLS Checklist says "Indian Passport (Original & Copy)"

2) Is it possible if my parents submit the application and go back to India after 6 weeks as planned, and then I pick the PCCs on their behalf, if the PCC comes after they are gone. Here I am assuming that we don't have to submit their Original Passports with the application.

3) The BLS Checklist is also asking for Canadian Address Proofs. My parents live in India, they are just visiting me here for 2.5 months, I assume here I can provide my address proof along with the relationship proof. What do you suggest?

4) How long did IRCC take to respond back to your request to extend the PCC timelines? And how much extension did you ask for? 3 months?

For you scenario, I would suggest, writing a email to the IRCC and explain about the situation and requesting for additional time. IRCC gave me 2 months of extension, but I did not specify any time in my request. We dont need to submti our Passport, we can just give the copy of passports.

I tried doing that last night but i get the msg that application could not be found. I tried using different options like UCI, application# etc.
- Is it after a certain time/step in the process that the application could be linked?
- The applications was filed online (not on-paper); could that be an issue?
- Did you (or anybody) face this issue while trying to link your application with GCKey?

The last question that was asked when linking application to GCKey about how many people are in the application could be confusing.

Just to be sure you are entering the correct number of people in the application correctly; assuming you (sponsor) and your spouse (co-sponsor) are sponsoring your dad (primary applicant) and mom (dependent) with no dependent children. Therefore, the number of people in the application will be 4.
Make sure this field is correct, Good luck!

My Parent GC Key is updated as "Final decision - July 8, 2024:Your application is in progress." but no update since then.
Any Idea when should we expect portal email?.

Yes parents are in Canada. I did called IRCC but no help as they gave standard answer "application is within processing time" and need to wait.

I did manual signature only for IMM5768 - printed and hand signed - scanned and uploaded

They consider the PCC submitted using web form. and it is valid for 6 months. They may request once expired.

Hi - My parents are in Toronto on Visitor Visa. They have received PCC request today. Does anyone have experience of getting PCC from BLS/Indian Consulate in Toronto? How long do they take to issue the PCC?

It may take 3-4 weeks.
