@Naytov Hi! Also, if you could help me with the below question,

The PGP checklist states "A copy of the exact status in Canada document you submitted with your Interest to Sponsor form must be included with your application"

The sponsor had submitted the interest to sponsor form with PR card at the time, and now the sponsor is a citizen so he had to destroy his PR card. He has a copy of the front side of the PR card but not the back. Is this an issue if the back side of PR card cannot be uploaded? Do we need to submit a letter of explanation for this? Sponsor will be uploading his Citizenship certificate along with his Canadian Passport.

Thanks
I would send everything just in case, but I believe that the Citizenship certificate should be enough with passport

Hi all,

Is it okay if my parents have gaps in education? There's a 2 year gap between Secondary education and Intermediate. We are showing no gaps in Personal History section in the last 10 years (most recent), however I wanted to know if gap in education is fine or would it create a problem for the application.
Thanks!!!
In regards this matter, you can’t change anything in the past

so it is what it is

but when you supply CV for your parents I would put explanation why that happened

Thanks for your response.

So, we'll be following the below method for education section In the PR portal online form:
  • Education 1 details (with dates)
  • Education 2 section, we'll add the gap dates and in Institution or field of study we will mention "Please see letter of explanation".
  • We'll write a letter of explanation for the education gap of the dependant and attach it under additional supporting docs.
Hope the above works ?

Hello friends,
I was invited to apply for my parents PR and received my file number /sponsor approval on March 17, 2023 but haven't heard anything from IRCC after that. I haven't paid the right of permanent residence fee for both of my parents , only paid the application Processing fee when applying. Is that what causing the delay? I know people who received the invitation with me , their parents are already here. Any information will be very helpful. Thank you :)

Parents Country of Citizenship: Nepal
Your Province: AB
Invitation Date: Oct 12, 2022
Application Submitted Date: n/a
Additional Doc Req: (Name of form/s) + Date: marriage certificate submitted on Dec 14/2022
Sponsor Approval: Mar 17, 2023 (email)
Local Visa Office as per Sponsor Approval: Vancouver (Immigration Office)

Any update from vancouver office? I received sponsorship approval in July 2023 and nothing since. The excel sheet is not getting updated so I can’t see if Vancouver files are moving or no.
I received sponser approval on Mar 23/2023 and since then I haven't received any updates from them. It seems like only Vancouver IRCC is slow.

Is there anyone here who hasn't received any communication from IRCC after submitting their application?

I'm asking because according to the PGP 2022 tracker spreadsheet there seem to be a lot of applications with submission dates around Dec 24, 2022 without any updates- https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vSV91W6jGdyqJE0l4DURV2AMx8mkZHcjs_bQzkonr-Vf3Y7y62KHtnAyMMs8Es19xN7H_omq0fK5hA7/pubhtml?gid=1415640102&single=true
Ever since I received AOR/ sponsor approval on Mar 17th 2023, I haven't heard anything. Our file is being processed at Vancouver IRCC. My other friends who received invitation for 2022 already have their parents here.

Received COPR for my parent's. Thanks everyone for your support and good luck to everyone.
Congratulations for COPR and completing your PR journey !!
Can we ask the validity of your copr ie how much time is given by IRCC to actually land in Canada and is it approximately one year from parents medical date ( as have read in this forum ) ?
And secondly, when was your pcc date ?
If we can know above time/validity of copr , we can easily plan our arrival in Canada l
Your reply will be appreciated,
Thanks

Hello, does anyone know or what you think is happening for we have not even received sponsorship approval yet. Just that we have a request for school records etc. This is the grandparents application. Submitted in December 23. Makes me nervous. Called IRCC and they said everything seems in order and nothing of concern.
