They never claimed that they gonna keep sending the Invites for 2 straight weeks. They did mentioned the 30, 000 invites though!
Which they are done with, looks like it.

i have a question. My moms passport is expired and her appointment for renewal is still next year due to covid , so there are no appointment till next year.
Can i put the expired details of her passport when filling up the passport details in IMM0008 ?

You must think well before you reply okay, on a normal day EI is considered income. when i applied for interest to sponsor i saw my income was above the LICO, now while filling the form i realized the EI was not going to be considered. so how is that selfish...you must be crazy in your stupid head.

EI is Employment Insurance which is sort of substitute/compensation for loss of income

CIC accepts it as income due to the fact that Covid 19 hit hard and situation was bad for most ppl But that is only in 2020
2018 and 2019 EI is not part of income. So if you are claiming eligibility for 2018/2019 based on EI - you Sir are WRONG

Since it's "nothing to lose", many just submit their interest to sponsor online and either didn't look at the requirement or didn't pay attention to the details.
(e.g. cos my friend did and told me to as well...)


Sponsoring parents is a very important change of life. We planned it for years. We actually moved out from the suburb so that elder can have a walkable community.
