Given the fact that we haven’t received the invitation yet.
I totally get the frustration people have on people who put their name in the draw and got invited even though they don’t meet income requirements. But they will get the punishment themselves as their file will be rejected automatically. Think about the guilt they will have that they got the golden chance which is not less than “once in a lifetime opportunity “ and still couldn’t get what they wanted
On the other hand, ircc already know about such people and is sending extra invitations to cover the gap. So rather than taking your frustration on them , its better we all pray for ourselves.
Just my view on it
Exactly, there is now way we can avoid such selfish people. It is simply not possible with limited resources to come up with a system or process, which is not possible to misuse or abuse by such selfish people. However, I feel bad for their parents though, their parents see hope with each invite, which do not last long due to rejection and parents pay the price at the end due selfish sons/daughters.
Being selfish myself like them, I really hope all the people who knew they're not eligible, yet submitted EoI and received invitations, apply for the sponsorship. On doing so they will loose some $$ and if next EoI open before decision are made, they wont be able to submit EoI. This may help to filter only few bad apple though, as I am sure there will be new batch of such in the next round
