I need your help please

I got an email few days back asking for Adhar card and voter card along with high school certificate to show proof of relation with the PA.
I dont have Adhar card or Voter ID. Can submitting a canceled passport that shows my mothers name is enough to show the proof of relationship.

Hi I applied in PGP for my parents and my parents medical was done last month and now CIC is requesting some weird documents which I don’t have. They are asking my grade 5,8,10,12 and voter if and adhaar card. Anyone with same problem. I have my grade 8,10,12 but I don’t have grade 5 and adhaar card and voter id. What should I do please help.

I got the similar email few days back. I dont have voter card or Adhar card. Only have 5 grade and 12th grade certificate.

No change on ECAS, still shows in process under my mom's name.
Its good to hear any update but recently I contacted MP and base on their update the security and eligibility is not started yet. Don't know how long does is take if started . I was thinking these started very early ..

I am extremely confused with the income requirements to sponsor parents.
Last year, I had put interest for my mother only as I felt my income would not be sufficient to sponsor my mother and father.
I was married from 2018 to mid December (my spouse entered Canada in beginning of 2020) so should I consider 4 people bracket when I am looking for minimum income requirement? This is the requirement shown in CIC website for 4 people for 2020 and prior two years. My income for 2018 and 2019 was below $55k-60k but below the requirement shown. If my wife was not present in Canada, I still need to consider as 4 people for 2018-19 or 3 people in total.

It doesn’t matter if she wasn’t in Canada, you are married and count the total number of people so 4.

Not sure but I have heard that security and Eligibility do not always take very long. My additional document submission date is like yours. I will update you once I hear anything.

1) Birth registration/certificate : I do not have birth certificate. Planning to produce my grade 10 certificate + plus affidavits. Hope this will be sufficient.
2) Proof of Relationship: I have Aadhar card, but it has my father's name. Same with my grade 10 cert, which has my father's name . Same with PAN card.


The only documents I have which have my both parents name are : My Indian passport ( i am Canadian citizen now, but I have copies of old Indian passport) , my marriage certificate,

Anyone faced with this situation. Any ideas to deal with it?

Did they accept your canceled Indian passport for the proof of relationship? I got an email asking for the exact same things as yours. I dont have voter or Adhaar card but I have my grade 12th and canceled Indian passport that I am planning to send.

Thank you. If I am only applying for my mother, do I still look at total number of people as 4 for income requirements? If yes, are there any solutions to this? I don't want to lose this chance of getting invitation for my mother. Thank you!

YEs, that is what I meant when I said New Delhi Office. They have no availability till 2023....

Login to account and check daily morning hrs 6-7 am, within few days you will get a date and slot for appointment. Book the the date available then.

Hi my sponsored parents in INDIA have got invitation to get Biometric and Medical done at same time and has to be done within 30 days. The issue is that VFS Global ( which handles application in India) does not have any available appointment within 30 days. Any suggestions. I tried other cities too but nothing available before 2 months.

Dont worry book the earliest possible date and send the reference number to CIC . They already know the situation.

I am in the same boat as you. I got the exact same email today and I am only sponsoring my mother. I am a Canadian citizen and don't have voter or adhar card. I was wondering the same if I can send them my canceled Indian passport which has my mother's name on it.

I got the same request.i just submitted my school certificate,birth certificate n cancelled indian passport along with letter explaining tht since I m no more indian citizen I don't have voter card,also for AADHAR one need 182 days stay in india.

I have a few questions:
My parents have their PCC interview due on 25th in INDIA. All other documents have been cleared and uploaded. CPC-Mississauga is their assigned location.

Once I have that and upload it on the cic website, how long does it typically take for the passport request considering they get approved for PR?
Once they submit the passport typically how long would they have to wait for to get it back to them?
If they travel and come to Canada, is there an option to submit the passport within Canada or they have to / should wait their to complete the process instead?
