Hello everyone,
Question on Medical exam:
If parents did medical exam for Visitor visa extension and that is still valid. Will they be asked to do Medical exam for PGP again or same will be considered?
If anyone has experienced this, please share your experience.
Thanks!
pre-pandemic, they would have to do new medicals. Now, they may use the visitors visa medical. Depends on the case officer.

Hi experts, I just got recently requested GCMS notes. I noticed the PAPAER FILE Location: FC4/PGP APR-Pending Items, last time (8 months ago) was Registry. What is the difference? Thanks.

I got a request from London office today for updated:
IMM5669 - Updated Schedule A
IMM5562 - Supplemental Travels Info
IMM5406 - Updated Additional Family Info

Where do I get these forms for to be most accurate? @robertp you can also update my row in the excel

If the last medical was done within last one year, it will be valid across various applications.

A question regarding potential medical inadmissibility for those who might know or can advise.
My parents had their medicals done In November 2020. It seems that mom ( prinicipal applicant was ok . Father( who has numerous medical concerns , BP , diabetes , Cardiac - but overall stable) ) needed further blood test for TB and then most recently was told to see a nephrologist as his kidney function was not good .
His kidney issues have worsened since last year and so its not looking good. - we are still awaiting the specialist report .
I have family in the medical and legal field.
Both have suggested talking to an immigration lawyer at this point - though I am not sure if its even worth it ? As i understand once you are declined there is not much one can do .

Any thoughts , suggestions ?

Much appreciated

Hello all hope allwell ?

I have a question. my inlaws application was received my CIC on 10Th june 2019. last response from cic was Received letter from CIC on January 14 2020 about eligibility as a sponsor met and file transfer to NEW Delhi. my in laws are here in canada i got their visitor visa extension till july 2021. i am trying to get my area mpp to help ask the application should be process fast as its been almost 2 years and more. last response was before 1 year.

MPP is asking me to draft a letter with reasons to send to cic for faster processing of application. what can be possible good reasons ???

me and my wife both are essential workers not taken any day off during pandemic working from office location not from home. we have son who is 7 years old. because of my parents here in canada my son is taken care of.

what can be other reasons. ? pls. help.

- it's not safe for them to travel back to home country during covid

Also, do one thing. Call CIC and update your address.

I got the same letter back Dec. 4, 2020 and submitted the updated forms Dec 7 . 3 months later, we still heard nothing. My parents medicals are expiring in 2 days. is your application with CPC-M too?

I think because Canada is trying to restrict travel into the country they have slowed down the process further in all the different stages. I have send my mom's passport for stamping to New Delhi and has been with them since Jan 25. Upon enquiry they respond that due to COVID they are short staffed. To be honest it does not make any sense to me. I know most of us are getting frustrated, but I am April 30th submission and I don't think anyone applied as early as me is still waiting for the process to complete. Hang in there guys because there is nothing much we can do :) Can't wait to get off this roller-coaster ride!!!
