@YULIA-2016 @robertp : Guys, received an email confirming application receipt with file number today.
Do you know date when your Ecas updated to Decision made?"You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor"
Letter dated Sept 4th
It's completely normal and rather unfortunate for you. They need to follow their announced 30 days commitment. Otherwise if they complete everyone's request within a week, people will just flood in the requests. Maybe try to use webform to ask what's going on?I made the request for GCMS on July 30th and IRCC completed the request a week later on August 6, but they did not send the notes to me until August 30th. The notes do not contain anything after August 6th. I doubt there is any update on my case since August 6th. Otherwise they would have been reflected under mycic or on ecas
Please what number did you reach them on and what option did you chooseAoR received on July 26, one day after successfully linked my application. I always thought I have already updated this info. Sorry about that
I just finished the call with CIC. The nice lady told me the correspondence was about my dad's death certificate but I have yet to receive the email or see it on the linked application. Will give it a couple days to confirm before calling them again.
I address that in the very first paragraph. As for ecas, we don't have dates for when applications become trackable. The "90 days for AoR" is not correct. People from the wk of May 27th still waiting for eCas updates, which is over 100 days now. The AoR will come after eCas updates.
Did you met the income requirements without your EI income (regular)? If not, your file will be rejected. We discussed this in this link: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/parents-and-grandparents-sponsorship-2019.611761/page-1357#post-8136573hello again,
My ecas changed to decision made and says we send you mail on sept 3rd and there might be delay in mail. R they sending regular mail?
When I checked my cic account it says “We regret to inform you that you are no longer eligible to be in the pool. Check your messages below for details.”
And also,

thanks. i understand that. what i meant is the request will not serve as a reminder. It's completely normal and rather unfortunate for you. They need to follow their announced 30 days commitment. Otherwise if they complete everyone's request within a week, people will just flood in the requests. Maybe try to use webform to ask what's going on?
Oh, I didn't realize. I checked after I got the letter and saw SA - Decision made; PA - In ProcessDo you know date when your Ecas updated to Decision made?
SA letter come few day after decision made.
I think I found the answer. I am not a dependent given the definition here:Hi, I received the request of additional documents after case was forwarded to HongKong.
One document that I am not clear if it applies to me. I am the sponsor and I apply for my parents immigration. I am the only child. I am under separation marriage status for many years but haven’t got divorce certificate yet. I won’t be able to get it soon. My parents are married marriage status. I have met the sponsor DM1 requirement.
Here is the request in the cic email:
For the principal applicant and all dependents 18 and over, whether accompanying you to Canada or not:
Ø Copy of divorce certificate or hospital death certificate of your spouse/common-law partner or dependents, if applicable.
My question is that does this divorce certificate apply to me? Do I need to submit any proof of my marriage status as separation even my sponsorship has qualified?
Thanks,
Should take a day or two,Not sure if this question has been asked before or not, but how much time does it take for the Medical Status to be updated in MyCIC once the results are uploaded by the Doctor?.
