I mailed my filled application on June 1st. I have not been able to even see the status on the online tool
I disagree, there is no clear cut reason for a file being stuck, whatever you read here are only theories
I have no dependents and neither does my mother
I sent my birth certificate where it is clearly stated she is my mother (I even highlighted my name and her name), properly translated by a certified translator
In conclusion, our file does not fulfill any of your reasons and it was stuck on Application received until yesterday
Oh by the way, @robertp you can update line 13, in process since July 18th, 2019
Do you have anything to review longer, for example in my case I assumed that it takes longer, because maybe someone from seniors should review and approve whether I can exclude my separated spouse or no. Maybe whose application stuck in process for long time, is pending approval from senior officer and it takes longer.
Calm down. That's normal. Wait for another 3-4 weeks. Right now ecas is available upto 14th May with some exceptions.I mailed my filled application on June 1st. I have not been able to even see the status on the online tool
@diegosolano . So, finally the status did change from "Application received" to "in process" ? I know the update has been painfully slow for you but that's a positive step.
Nothing complicated in my case. I am sponsoring my widowed mother, who has only one child, which is me. And our household income is way beyond what is required.
