Hi folks , When I filled interest to sponsor form I listed my father as primary applicant. Can I change it now & make my mother as the primary applicant ? Both will land together!

Hi, did the interest to sponsor form specifically mention primary applicant AND dependent? I think it just asked for name of parents to be sponsored. Correct me if I am wrong. If I am wrong, then I am sure even I changed the principal applicant's name from my dad to my mother.

Could this be an issue?

The Twitter ircc is not wrong. Every dependent need to clear medical and background security check whether they are accompanying p.a or not
In response to clification from IRCC twitter handle this is what was tweeted.

This is what response I got from IRCC tweeter handle when asked for more clarification.

@CitImmCanada A quick clarification.
So if my my mother is a principal applicant and my dad is a dependant .Since my dad (dependant) won't be able to travel because off his health issues..
Will my Mother still qualify for this programe? Your answer will able for me to unite .

Hi. Yes, your mother would still qualify as long as you meet these eligibility requirements https://t.co/bpKWmDDN04 Hope this helps!

Hi, my mother is visiting Canada next month. Is it possible to get an upfront medical exam done for her before sending in the application?

Thanks a lot for all the help.

Hello All,

I have a confusion regarding IMM 5669 form. Do we need to include travel history as well under section 6 Personal history of this form? My parents are retired from past 10 years. But have traveled to Canada, Germany, and USA once.
I have read different answers in this thread. Some have included travel history in this form by adding more rows, while some have included a separate travel log sheet, and some have just not included anything at all in the package as IRCC usually ask for travel history form later on.
Is there any concrete answer for this? If someone can please clear this confusion for me, will really appreciate it.

Thanks Everyone and Goodluck!
i submitted a separate sheet with travel history. I parents made over 53 trips over the past 10 years outside of their residence country....what a pain to do this but to be safe I did it.

Congrats!! When was your application delivered to IRCC office in Ottawa?

As per his earliest Post #3452 on May 2nd @karthikramda 's application was delivered on April 26th, making him the first person on the tracker along-with @guyfromtoronto & @Usernametaken999. Did you guys also receive AoR today?

This also looks like the first come first serve approach. If we follow a linear pattern, you can calculate the number of days to your AoR based on this. It will of course be approximate, but at least it gives some indication...

Did anybody have D Ging as the signing person? My application was received (hopefully) on May 2nd, but no news yet and nothing on ECAS
