they spot check. My friends were requested to prove income right before his parents were asked to provide passport.
The letter asked them to support previous year income and also letter from employment and estimation of current year income.

So should someone who doesnt meet ongoing income still apply? Or not waste the time and resources of IRCC?

@canuck78 ?

@canuck78 ?
if someone may not meet the income requirement in year 2019, they need to find way to provide enough income, whiceverway needed.
Self employed, contract...etc. Take extra jobs, work on the weekend, increase hours...etc.

@canuck78 ?
does it apply to you?
You should still apply either way...the chance that they will check your income in 2019 or 2020 is 50%.

Hi everyone! A question about IMM 5768:

I am sponsoring my 2 parents and my wife is sponsoring her 2 parents. We are both each other's co-signers, so our family size is 6. How do I fill questions 3-6 so that the total number becomes 6?

My guess, but could be wrong:
Q2: 1
Q3A: 4
Q3B: 0
Q4: 0
Q5:1
Q6: 0

SUM: 6

Am I right? Or should my spouse's parents be mentioned in Q4? Thanks for replying!

For mine:
Secondary certificate and diploma issued--> High school Diploma
College --> University Diploma
Is this wrong?

Should be fine. Because education systems differ. Especially when it comes to our parents in their 50s 60s or 70s....
Mine: High school -> Diploma
Master's Degree -> Master of Art (MA)

shouldn't be a big deal, as long as it presents some educational background!

So the rule for biometric compulsory requirements is only in effect end 2018 so last year people do not need to do biometric, question is when will they ask for biometric and when is the biometric centre inside Canada is opened this year?

Need Help ! My mom and dad have Canada Visitor Visa so can i put their UCI in IMM008 which should be same as mentioned on their visitor visa?
You should put! I've put as well. UCI is a unique number.

According to the instruction on the website:
If you have a UCI number (Unique Client Identifier), write it here. If this is your first time dealing with IRCC, you will not have a UCI.

So this is not their first time!

IMM5406... parents siblings... my mom has 5 siblings... the form has maximum space for 3... anyone on the similar situation? how to tackle this?

I'm sponsoring my mom. She is widowed, my sister is married and 25 year's old. So my mom doesn't have to fill additional dependents form (IMM008DEP) right ?

I used another similar form, on the top i just mentioned my dad’s name and DOB (didnt mention anything else)

Authority to certify varies by province and territory. Consult your local provincial or territorial authorities.

Outside of Canada:

  • a notary public
Authority to administer oaths varies by country. Consult your local authorities.
Please read the guidelines every information is right there.
I've checked them all. I'm only looking for advice regarding notarization. In my country documents get translated first and then get a verification (stamp) by Foreign Ministry and Judicial system. There's nothing such oath or I certify that this is a ....

Read the check list! If you are supporting their mother! not your mother. So, there's no need for BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
