Which office sends biometrics instruction letter, Ottawa, Mississauga or Local Visa Office?
From those who applied to sponsor spouses and 2018 people, it seems that biometrics letter is generated automatically when they approved the sponsorship eligibility and then activate the principal application for PR, it can be before the file is transferred to local visa office, the letter is normally sent by CPC Missisauga not local visa office

Dear Sir/Madam,

This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted on behalf of XXXXXX and family (if applicable).

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative will be processed at CPC-Mississauga. This visa office was selected based on your relative’s home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Should you need to submit additional information or make any further enquiries regarding the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative, you may find contact information for that visa office at www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp.

If you received this communication via email, please note that another copy will not be mailed to you.

I received this on July 8 through email.
Can someone tell me if this is AOR?

Thanks for your response. Yes, I have already sent the application.

They already have super visa. If they will get PR they Super visa will get cancelled and they will fulfill obligations of PR and they will have to go through the process to renounce the PR and again get another visitor visa which will be another complicated process. All this knowing that they will not live here..

And what it will impact on please?

None.

This is SA email. Not AoR.

AOR means
"Answer: AOR is an acronym that stands for the term “Acknowledgment Of Receipt”. An AOR indicates that the Canadian consulate, embassy, or high commission, has received your application for permanent residency and has issued a case file number for the application submitted."

Anyone from May 14th or onward able to see their eCAS? There seems to be no movement.

Shouldn't AOR come earlier than SA?

I have been so good this year so I guess they rewarded that with quicker response :)
Dear, can you tell us from which office you got the biometric instruction letter? Ottawa, Mississauga or LVO?
