I support this theory, just go check the spousal sponsorship timelines, applicants from India / China get here within 6 months (or less) and other countries can easily go the full 12 months or even more
Oh my application was received the first possible day (April 26th) and it is still on "application received" so consider yourself luckier than most people

That is incorrect. Most Indian spousal sponsorships take around 12 months. Not sure about Chinese.

Hi All

One quick logical question:

I didn't see any application received info in tracking sheet after May 27, 2019. I am really afraid now. Are their 20000 application cut off is done on May 27,2019.Are you guys thinking the same ? Is there any chance ;(

Thank You

Lets hope for the best! ;)

Hey Rang, congrats. May I ask your parents are from hong kong or the mainland of China? if they are from the mainland of China, why not transfer the files to Beijing. How did you submit the household registry? mail to CIC or upload it through mycic? thanks

Mainland China
their Beijing office no longer process these applications.
Household registry - notarized booklet with translations
HongKong requires submission by mail and needs to be received by their office in 30 days.

Medical exam and PCC also requested today (July 8)

Thanks

Is there anyone who got SA by only submitting SIN consent and no other additional docs like NOA / Option C etc?

Me. I don't like to over prepare for immigration application, especially for family sponsorship, when the requirements are so straightforward. I followed the guide on the invitation letter exactly except for that barcode page order crap later found on the other guide lol.. I didn't think it mattered at all in the end.

However, I did over prepare for visitor visa applications before because of weaker cases.
