So when you track your application on ECAS... what should i use with receipt number, is it DOB of sponsor (me) or principal applicant (Father)....

Finally linked my application. The tricky question is the last one: how many family members on the application. In my case: my mother-in-law as principal applicant, my wife as a sponsor, me as co-signer, 3 kids as dependants, my mother (applied for both at the same time). The correct answer is not as in question 7 in form IMM5768, but actually 3 to link the application finally!

So you got AOR email? And what did you select in applicant marital status? Is it mother status or sponsor marital status?

Hi All, I did not get the actual file number email notification, but I went to my account and was able to link my application, and online account shows my file number and application is received on April 26. I am not sure when they will send me the actual file number mail notification. Will let you know once I receive the email. But I can see the file number online.

I tried mine and it worked. I think both should work. With your it will show sponsor status but with your fathers it will show applicant status.

I sent additional explanation and got the same email. And when I called IRCC, the agent said that are not going to send anything and only confirmation, and provided information is attached to my file.

you should take every case separately minus kids that's why 3 is working / you both + parent/
