Did anybody have D Ging as the signing person? My application was received (hopefully) on May 2nd, but no news yet and nothing on ECAS

Don't worry. They are just processing lots of applications. You know it was signed for and it arrived many people are not able to access their ECAS yet.

i submitted a separate sheet with travel history. I parents made over 53 trips over the past 10 years outside of their residence country....what a pain to do this but to be safe I did it.

I am planning to do the same since I already got the forms signed by my parents. Don't want to send just one form again to sign after including travel history. Will submit separate sheet of travel history.

Why will CIC wait for someone who was invited on April 24th but sends the application package on June 28th vs someone who was invited on April 27th and sends the completed package on May 1st.

If they waited, it would be most unfair to someone who was on the ball and submitted a completed package early.

The applications will be processed in the order they are received by CIC and as they get assigned to Case Officers. In fact, there is already one whose application is in the "In-Process" stage.

Because they got to knw if you have made the cut in first 20k! why will they process you if you were in the last 7k and sent your application early than others!

On Additional Dependent declare form,
what is Mother's Dependent type(line 12)?
leave it blank?
All type A, B and C is for a child, not spouse.

I think IRCC has sent ITA to more than 26K people because based on previous years, they know they won't receive 20K eligible applications. I second the oppinion read above that there will be a second FIFO this year if IRCC wants to process 20K applications.

No one knows what exactly their plan is. They were going to accept only 20,000 complete applications, but invited over 26,000 in the very first round. It's entirely possible that there will be less than 20,000 complete applications (just read this thread for a bit).

I tried 1900/01/01, but unfortunately,we won't be able to validate the form. So, to avoid any chance of application return, we have to make sure the form is validated.
