The question goes like this:

HAVE YOU, OR, IF YOU ARE THE PRINCIPAL APPLICANT, ANY OF YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS LISTED IN YOUR APPLICATION OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE IN CANADA EVER:

K) HAD ANY SERIOUS DISEASE OR ANY PHYSICAL OR MENTAL DISORDER YES NO?

Hence I am confused...........

I don’t know what they consider serious conditions.
May be someone senior could share some suggestions.

But my case is same, my dad had skin cancer in 2013, got operated and with God’s grace is cancer free now for almost 6 years.
And i did not mention it in 5669, but my intention is not to hide anything as I’ll for sure reveal this to the panel physician.
And it was revealed to the PP for super visa medicals too and the the reports were provided.

However, for 5669 I also got confused now.
But lets see if someone can share some suggestion on this.

Anyone here with an application received Jun 12 onwards with any success on receiving AOR or linking application or being able to see ecas status? I have not been able to get any update from them or able to connect online, worried if they have received it. Still have confirmation from canadapost and their phones are also no longer transferring calls to agents. Any one in similar situation? Thanks

YES : LVO is depend on IMM008, page#2, contact info address.

"Section 1: current mailing address and read 3 point is “ if you wish to authorize the release of information from your application to representative, indicate their email and mailing address in this section and on the IMM 5476.”

experts... @robertp @Yulia @bdidol .. i see lot of ppl getting additional docs req before AOR/ecas activations etc.. i am yet to get any communication .. ecas was pre maturely activated.. just linked the app..

just wondering "not getting additional doc req= all docs are in order " is a good thing? or "just delay in processing"

If you able to link the file, that means no missing docs. If you missing any fees (ie, bio), you will still get a request to send it.

You have to wait. No AoR sent yet for June applicants.

Linking is only possible till June 6th as of today.

It may seem a strange question, but how do I get MyCIC and is it called by this or something else. I’m finding it very difficult to follow some of the questions and answers with all the abbreviations because I don’t know what half of them mean. You can login to mycic with your existing (or new account) or create one for Principal Applicant.

Yeah these are very subjective questions aren't they?

The problem is the word "Serious".

If you ask a medical doctor/healthcare professional, they might give you very different answers compared to a layperson.

As a guide I would say that if your disease or disorder has required you to be hospitalized ie had to be admitted to the hospital unit or ward for further treatment and monitoring then it should point to something more "serious". Having said that often times patients are admitted because we suspect something serious but then get discharged when we CANNOT find anything serious.

The other point is what type of treatment are they getting? Which is a far easier way to gauge "Seriousness".

See below list :

1) Hemodialysis or Peritoneal Dialysis - Renal Failure
2) Chemotherapy- Cancer
3) Radiotherapy - Cancer
4) Prolonged (weeks to months) antimicrobial treatment eg treatment for Tuberculosis, Intravenous antibiotics for septic arthritis
5) Prolonged rehabilitation program (eg spinal cord damage , paraplegia, stroke)
6) Inpatient psychiatric monitoring (severe psychosis, schizophrenia, drug addiction)
7) Daily home care due to immobility or Institutionalized (eg severe Multiple Sclerosis, Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), severe Parkinson's, Dementia)

Please update the tracker for row 274 to indicate eCAS went to "In Process" on September 11th for sponsor and principal applicant. My application was received by CIC on May 17th.

Wondering why there is no decision made yet .

Just so you are ready, get a letter from the Oncologist indicating the prognosis of your father, that he was treated for X type of cancer, that he is cancer free and he is stable and that there are no indications that he could relapse. Have this letter ready for when you get the medical test and the doctor can attach it to the exam, it's entirely up to the Canadian authorities to determine if it's an excessive demand on the medical system here, not up to you or what people say here

But his/her question is if it is supposed to be mentioned on the 5669 form.
For the panel physician, i agree we need to mention this and provide the reports.

i.e. My dad’s case, he had skin cancer almost 6 years ago and was operated and is doing ok.
We mentioned this to the PP on his super visa medical and reporta were provided.

We will mention this to PP on his PGP medical too. But i did not mention it on the form 5669, which I thought is only asking for present serious conditions, may be i misunderstood but for sure there was no intention of hiding it as they already have these details in his super visa’s medicals.

So this user is asking the same thing about his/her mother, if they need to mention it on the form 5669 or it should just be mentioned to the PP once they do the medical exam?
