I have my file number or Application number.
But I cannot link to mycic, when I tried to add the link, the system can't locate my file.

That is normal. I have the same issue where I can't link my file no matter what combination i used. You can use webform and send them your inquire as technical issue and attach screen shots of what you are filling while trying to link your application. Or I was told that you dont need to link your application you can just check application status online which is same as ECAS

Finally after a month in process
Today ECAS changed to Decision Made for sponsor.
Did not get communication either through email or myCIC.
But myCIC has a little update that I noticed yesterday;

You will get an email saying you have a new message. You can then check your application status.

I dont bother with the sheet.

My application was received by IRCC 21 May.
AOR received Aug 13.

Visa office should be sg.

My lawyer is receiving the documents and sending to me. So I let them handle it.

Thank you for your reply nayr69sq. I think your visa office may be CPC-Mississauga as you have received the IME and biometric already. Visa offcie is written in the SA letter. Singapore office usually first issue the AOR for principal applicant. Then issues bio, IME, PCC request.

It's not necessarily true. The day I can see ecas got activated, I was able to link my app & still waiting for AoR

Can you please help me guide if the orincipri applicant needs to MANDATORILY have the biometrics or any other requirement completed in home country?? My mom is currently in home country & plans to visit Canada in a couple of months. I have heard that one cannot have the biometrics done in Canada and so they need to go back to their home country. I would appreciate any advice that you may have. Thanks

I only put two, which is PA + Dep, that's the question they had asked, correct? it asked included in the application.
Maybe this is the reason for it to unable to locate my file, glad to find out that.

If you just received and passed IME recently, you need to wait for PCC first. A bunch of us received doc request including PCC BEFORE IME and even before DM1, that's why the whole process was so much quicker. If you see the people who got PPR so far, you will see that pattern.

PCC has to be submitted original or scan copy will do by email ?

That's on my AOR letter.

I'll be frank I have no idea how all this works actually. My lawyer receives the letters and they update and contact me on the next steps.

So how does IRCC decide when Singaporean parents are under the CPC Missisauga or the Singapore visa office?

Maybe there is an advantage in having a Canadian based lawyer handle the application for you?
