Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2018

Hi all, We have received our COPR, however the documents are being sent to England , we have not been asked to send our passports at all, has this happened to anyone else? it seems that we can just land with or passports and visa? there is some mention of a foil from visa exempt countries, does any one know what this is?

I am 9 August. and their is another applicants from 26 July, all waiting for PPR

my parent's application is approved since June 26 and still no PPR. I called the call center and they are like the application is approved and just waiting for PPR letter. Application is with-in 24-month timeline so they can't do anything

yes that's the way it works for Visa Exempt countries.

Yes this is what it sucks. Kind of in Limbo or not unless you get it.

Anyone in this thread who got additional medical tests for Heart Condition like Echo, ECG or Stress Echo? What was the outcome if your parents(s) got these tests done? Really upset/stressed and worried as my Mom got these tests request and not sure what will be the outcome.

Question, my parents on a temp visit in US coming back to Canada end of Sep. Is it ok to submit passports after 30 days ?

after the PPR email is received via CIC account.
In upload documents there is a spot called " Passport"
as the passport have to be sent for Visa - do I need to upload anything?

if you read the PPR document it clearly states that if you cannot make in "30 days" , Inform the Visa office in writing.

I would say it depends on which processing office is reviewing your application. Mine is Ottawa and it has been almost 12 weeks now the status hasn't change from "Docs under review". Other offices seems like faster though.
