Just read the forms. They only ask you to calculate family size as of when you fill in the app. There is no calculation provided for previous years. The number you come up with based on today's family size, is the only one they ask you to use.

So if you think you should do your own calculations in previous years, then you should be finding the reference that they want old family sizes in previous years since it doesn't indicate that anywhere that I can see. And based on your logic why is your family size 4 in previous years, shouldn't it be 2 since you weren't sponsoring your parents in those years?

IRCC wants to see you meet 3 years of consistent income to meet your family size today, that you will be financially responsible for as part of your app. Why would they be satisfied if you only met old family sizes that have nothing to do anymore with your situation today? Logically this does not make sense for requiring the 3 years in the first place.

Did anyone respond to you, about your question, I am wondering the same thing. How do you enter the personal history. You only have to show for the past 10 yrs. So do you write about every stamp on CDC, and what about when he is in international waters for day 4-5 months?

Yes, international waters for like 5-6 months then vacation for like 2 months then back again at work.

No one has respond to me yet but what I'm planning to do is to maybe attach an LOE with his old passport and seaman's book and just let CIC decipher it and yes, personal history for 10 years.

January 1, 2008 - June 1, 2008 (international waters)
June 2, 2008 - August 1, 2008 (back in home country)
and so on.

The 2018 PGP family size was calculated differently from new/current 2019 PGP. We needed to use family size as of the day when the application was filed and that included the parents and their dependents as well.

I have no comment on the PGP 2019 family size.

Hai today i got email from cpc missisauga to sent option c of my wife for the year 2015 and 2016.But my wife landed here in 2017 only .so we dont have NOA for those years .How do i sent them if any one has idea please do share me
One more question I got married on 2016 march my wife arrived in canada in 2017 so i have to show the income for current family size (3)along with my parents (2) all together 5 for the year 2016 or only mine. Please still i have not got sponsor approval . I would like like to know the income . If i am not eligible ill withdraw my application.please do share the information for both queries.thanks

Yes on April 17 when I got PCC request my BC status got changed to

We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Yesterday after status changed to approved my BC changed to Your background check was completed.

suckers... they aren't making file in progress.. have submitted my PCC two months ago, no BC check in progress, however last week they updated saying we are reviewing your additional documents you provided which I think it is PCC... so sad though

IMM 5669:

Date of birth is unknown for my Grandmother, So can I put ****-**-** for that or just write 1900-01-01 and make explanation on separate sheet.
If I use ****-**-** format, the form cannot be validated.
If I use 1900-01-01, the form can be validated, but even the validated form is not generating any barcode page.

According to CIC guideline: Note: If you do not know the complete date of birth or if the date is in the 1800s, please use a “*” (star sign/asterisk) to fill in the spaces for the unknown year, month or day. The missing information can be added by hand however the form cannot be validated."

Since this is PGP2018 you have to use your current family size for all the years so 2015, 2016 and 2017 (plus 2018 if you are asked).

Is there any reason they slow down after the Medical and PCC request? Seems everyone is in same boat.... do you guys think calling CIC will help?

I'm going to submit my package for 2019. I noticed some 2018 applicants were asked for travel form. So did the IRCC asked you to submit the form 5562 after you submitted initially? Should I include it in my package upfront even though not requested in the checklist?

Yes they did ask me for the Travel form 5662 in year 2018, so what i did for my in-laws application (2019), i provided them that form with the application.

Since this is PGP2018 you have to use your current family size for all the years so 2015, 2016 and 2017 (plus 2018 if you are asked)

Hai canuck you mean number would be 5 rite? And how do i send the proof of NOA since my wife hasnot NOA for those years. Can i write letter explaining the condition to them.please do share your view
