Hello,
looking for a bit of advise here. My mother undergone medical examination couple of weeks ago but due to her unexpectedly high blood pressure, doctor wanted to do some additional tests with cardiologists and what not. That took another week or so. The cardiologist did not find anything and my mom brought the results back to panel physician last Wednesday, November 14th. The medicals were due for submission today, November 19th.
However, when doctor tried to upload the document through e-medical on friday the 16th, they received message that e-medical system is undergoing maintenance and it was unavailable to be used till 17th November morning (which is Saturday).
It's long weekend back home and doctors office is closed 17, 18th, 19th of november. They will attempt to try to submit again tomorrow, but it will be 1 day late.
My mother wrote an email to LVO explaining the unfortunate situation and the reason for the delay with IME, but would that be enough for them not to reject/return the application outright? Do they pay attention to the date exam took place or the actual day it was submitted to immigration by their appointed doctor? (as the later one is not under applicants control). Anything else I could do? I attempted to call them but no luck to speak to anyone.
I believe 1 day is fine

If someone is sponsoring both parents, am I correct in assuming that only Principal applicant has to complete form IMM 008 for himself and spouse. Dependent Spouse has to complete his/her Family Info and Background Declaration forms?

We got a letter requesting for more information....
We moved since we submitted the interest to sponsor form... So the current address is different...
And they wanted us to proof it's' the same person... This is really.. stupid...
Cos every other info is the SAME... Name, birthday, etc....

@YULIA-2016
can you please update DECISION Made for principal applicant 20 november 2018
Thanks

Therefore, the linking document must be issued by a Canadian province or territory. In the case of a change in address, evidence must be provided which demonstrates both the former and current address associated to the person invited to apply.

I really can't think of any official document that we can supply for that. Change of address in BC is done via a website.
And a tiny sticker is being sent to us to put on top of the current address of our driver's license...
There is no "document" that we can send.

@YULIA-2016
Please update row 230 for me. Additional information requested (change of address proof)
Got temp file number XF via this email as well..
I don't know if it's good or bad. Now I need to learn now to upload the additional information...

Friends,
I was going to call the call center asking for update on application sent in first week of September. Wanted to confirm first that has anyone whose application was received in September received AOR yet?

Dependent spouse also has to fill it for their (his/her) side of the family.

I don't think anyone from September on the ss has received AOR.
I sent in mine late Sept and we got the email for additional information... So it may be better not to get anything from them so soon.

Thank you for the info. I didn't receive any email or anything so was worried.

I have also changed my address after submitting the online interest form, but I have precautionary explained in the cover letter about my address change with utility bills (for both address) . I am from Ontario.

Fill out the new forms. The forms must be the current ones (not the older versions).
CIC correspondence letter has the link to the latest Sch. A form.
Fill the form electronically. Type name and date electronically as well as sign them by hand for both parents.
HTH.

Many thanks for the answer! That’s what I thought too
