Hi Folks,
I hope we will get invitation to sponsor my mother under PGP 2019. She is in Canada under implied status now as we have requested to extend her length of stay (She has multiple entry visitor visa). Now CIC has requested for medicals, I was wondering If we are lucky to get invitation this year under PGP, can I submit the same medical results along with the initial sponsorship application ? Or CIC will ask me to re-do once its expired after a year. Kindly advice...

Hello ...i did medicals done for my parents on 28 Feb....it was emedical.they took the pictures in the clinic ..i have got couple of doubts..firstly do they send everything to immigration and we don't have to worry about uploading any document and after how long will the ecas status will be updated showing medical received medical passed..

as per what I was told, the clinic will upload it within 1-2 days. So what we should concern about is when the PPR arrives... lol

What was the complications in your case? Was it background check? Although my mom passed away and it's just my dad living by himself without any close relative, he has a comfortable life and many activities to keep him busy, so he is in no hurry to come, that's why he would be pissed to spend so much money on medical exams again lol. But I need him to come to Canada for good so that when he gets older and older, he's close to me and I can take care of him. I have young children and if he needs me to go back home to help him, I won't be able to for long periods of time....
I don't need a DM right now., I just need it before medical expires lol

yea.. as long as the estimated wait time is over 30 minutes, they don't even transfer you to the waiting line

When the medical exam is requested, they can choose a panel physician anywhere in the world, even in a different country from where they live.
However I recommend you use webform and inform IRCC about their correct mailing address unless you are representing them.

Just curious id anyone here got biometric request after it was made compulsory in November. How did the process go. My application is still in process and was not sure if I will get a biometric request how to. Make that process smooth.
