Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2017

I recently received an application to apply for my mother in law. I have a couple of questions:

1- Both my husband and I are sponsoring her, our 2 children both over the age of 19 live at home and work and study, are they dependents?

2- We have our own business in 2014, our assessed income was below the minimum income level, even though our "net income" was obviously higher. Should I send copies of both Net income and assessed income for the all the years?

3- the box that ask if you want to continue the application if you are "not approved", what is it there for?

Hi All, I have a question regarding sponsored parents name. In most of the documents my moms name is ABCDEF and in birth certificate the name is ABCADEF. Do you guys think that I need new birth certificate or will the existing work just fine?

Why few having LVO Ottawa and few having original country where parents belongs?

I would guess if parents have any Canadian visa in the past (or you say if they have UCI) then there files are going to Ottawa VO else their home country. But this is just my guess so I can't bet on that.

My parents doesn't have super visa. They got visitor visa 2 years ago(with 6 months validity) and they visited Canada for 2 months at that time. Their file is sent to Ottawa. so no rule I would guess.

Is it a typo or has she used other names in the past? If she did, you can always mention that on the form under other names section.

My moms name was was miss-spelled in her birth certificate as ABCADEF and hence it was copied in her passport. But rest all the documents are named as ABCDEF. So I am not sure what to do now.

when did IRCC receive your application?

They received it by end of July but they requested a fees payment form as they mentioned that the payment I did was incorrect so sent them payment receipt and explanation letter again. I hope to receive AOR soon.

My parents will have to get certified passport and marriage certificate for the supporting documents.

Certified true copies
To have a photocopy of a document certified, an authorized person must (as described below) compare the original document to the photocopy and must print the following on the photocopy:

• “I certify that this is a true copy of the original document”,
• the name of the original document,
• the date of the certification,
• his or her name,
• his or her official position or title, and
• his or her signature.

For example: my dad passport photocopy will say:

• “I certify that this is a true copy of the original document”,
• the name of the original document - Passport
• the date of the certification - 23 Sept. 2017
• his or her name, - My Dads name or a notary public name?
• his or her official position or title - My Dads title or a notary public title?
• his or her signature - my dads signature or a a notary public signature?
