Parent Super Visa from Pakistan Jan 2024

I applied for my mother Super Visa in Jan 2024 from Pakistan. Still waiting for any further step. Would anybody else in the same timeline like to share your experience. Thanks in advance

Hi Hassan,
I also applied for my mother on 29 Jan 2024, there is no update till now. i requested our MPA here in Mississauga to check the application, and they revert back to me saying that the security has been cleared and the next update will be in June 17th.
i recommend you to call your MPA where every you are now, and ask them to follow up with the embassy in Pakistan for the details.

Sharing Super Visa Timeline for my mother. Applied her Super visa back in Jan 2024, received medical request on May 8th, Medical done on May 14th, status changed to Medical Passed on May 21st, received email to submit passport on May 29th. Hopefully, this will help you guys to understand the approximate processing times these days in Pakistan. Good Luck

Yes, we need to buy full insurance for submission only. if you need any help on Insurance, let me know

Do you also need full insurance for super visa extension? They are already in Canada and was stamped to leave on July 25 if this year (just 10 months from entry date) but I'm planning apply for extension, do I need another insurance?

I am not 100% sure but as per my knowledge you will need insurance coverage for one full year to apply for extension. Just for curiosity, why did they allow them entry only for 10 months? because for Super Visa you can stay for 5 years before you exist.

I was as shocked as you are now. I don't know why the officer stamped 10 months at the port of entry. I've tried reaching out to them but to no avail. They had full 1 year insurance when they entered and it was their first time ever in Canada. Now I'm faced with applying for extension

Because last time i applied they gave Visit Visa for my mom

No, this will be her third time coming over. And yes, she got a 10 year PG-1 Visa

I Got a Medical request today. do you know after medical how much time will it take for PPR?

It took about 3 weeks to get PPR after I received her MR
