When i called to that same number , the agent was able to tell when my passport was put in the mail Dec 11 th , also told me that my visa was approved and the address where CPP mailed my passport back (My home address) which all the information was correct . I think they know whats going on in the Ottawa office they just don't care about giving any information. I called many times and before they all said they have no idea what is going on at the Visa Processing center CPP Ottawa .
Maybe you should try calling to the call center again and tell them that you called before and somebody already told you that your application was finalized on the 10 th , and they will send your passport shortly and it has been more that 2 months and you don't have your passport yet( makes them believe that you got information from the call center)Also , tell them you are worried that your passport got lost on the Mail( that is what i said ) and you have to flight soon. In order for the agent at the call center to give me that information he asked me for my CLIENT ID # . Do you have a client ID #?
Good luck and i will let you know whenever i get my passport , Hopefull soon otherwise i will have to cancel my flight which is the second one that i bought ( the first one was not refundable so i lost $1500 ) . and screw my family's vacation (Husband and two Kids).
