Gentlemen,

I received a call for medical on 3rd of Oct, and went for med on 15th.....Today my online application page updated with med passed......alhamdulillah

I also received an email from CIC Islamabad on 8th Oct to submit an updated letter of acceptance in 15 days time. I emailed them 1:30 am after mid night (22nd Oct) with the updated letter.

I hope and pray that they respond to it soon as well and ask for the passport to issue a visa......Ameen...!

I also hope and pray with high spirit that all the brothers and sisters on this forum and else where may get their visas and may this waiting be over.......Ameen...!

We have applied online for TRV. My wife applied for study permit (She got scholarship in PhD) and we two (me and my daughter one year old) for visitor visa. We applied on 29-09-2014 and have given our bio-metrics on 30-09-2014. Now waiting for medical call.

What you people say when we will get call for medical? should we go for medical in advance or should wait till the cal from embassy?

I ran a little analytics on the spread sheet on those who got their visa decided. The visas got approved ranging from 35 days to 115 days at most with average around 80-90 days. Those whose visas got refused, got refused around 45 to 50 days. I am hanging in there at 125 days now. Means i am way way wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too past the time for guys to have got visa. Mohsinis in 115 days and brass in around 90.

Please harp on with your comments on this situation......

Thanks ezakhan khan for your good wishes. I think you are pretty close in getting Visa. Can you please share which updated letter of acceptance you have submitted I mean January ??May? or September semester?? have you originally applied for Fall 2014?? Thanks

@Tariq54321: The offer letter from Uni of Regina is valid for three sessions.....My letter was intended for Jan, May and September 2014. The offer letter says that the letter is valid for three sessions becoz international students have delay problems in getting visa. My problem exceeded the vast duration provided. Haha. I had applied before for the previous sessions and got refused. Since I missed Sept 2014, I requested the Uni to provide me with another acceptance letter. My new letter says I am allowed to join winter session 2015.

Brass bro can you fix the number of count of days for those who have obtained the visa. I mean their number of days are being calculated since they applied. And still increasing, same for those whose visas were refused. I want to get a sense of how many days visas were decided in.... Can you do that?

Sure I will, I have problems with internet actually. Also, for some successful applicants, the visa approval dates are unknown. I will try to figure it out once I get back to civilization ;D

I also want to raise an issue : there was a terrorist attack at the canadian parliament yesterday....Ottawian police also said that they will request their government to make the immigration laws more strict .....will this effect our applications?
