Just got admission from Carleton uni for JAN -intake, I have few questions appreciate if you guys can answer.

1. I have 10 week left for a visa is that enough or should I defer my admission for next term.

2. which method is preffered for visa? online or paper

I personally think, online is very easy and simple since you have to sit on table and send them with scanned copies. Its your choice...what to choose.

3.Do we need to submit orignal degree for online visa application as well or just a scan copy??

in case you apply online you need inly to submit scan copies of all required documents.

Guys seriously getting to my nerves. Waiting for this visa S*it. Money is blocked and i have to buy a flat here in karachi and prices changes here every week. Literally. By my estimation i have already lost two hundred thousands in last two months. What you people suggest. Cancel application and see whats up in next intake? I guess we letting go bird in hand for couple of birds in the bush.

I applied with upfront medical. So no chance for a call. What bothers me most is that my online application accounts shows my status as processing not started yet. Is it standard? Can other people who applied online share their experience in this regard?

You mean to say that your status shows since past 120 days, the CIC has not even looked at your application? That's crazy. I cannot really comment over it becuase I applied through VFS. But if your application hasn't yet entered the processing phase, I would suggest you withdraw it and apply for the next intake.

Their online application portal is unreliable. The status it shows cant be depended upon. At least that is what i have heard. Status doesnt change even if they start processing. I am just trying to make sure by corroborating my experience with someone who is going through this as well.

I see. The online system is unreliable and they do not respond to the inquiries at all, this is a lethal combination for those waiting. Anyways good luck with whatever you decide.

Went through medical examination on 23 september and sent deferred LOA on 3rd October by case specific inquiry but since then no reply/update from CIC.Allah Allah kar k med call aye thi ab phr mamla atak gya full tension.

Bhai apne Visa application kis date ko submit krwaii thi & Deferred LOA apse CIC ne demand kia tha ya khud he send kr dia :??
Actually mera scene b ap ki tarha he hai !!!

Yaar how did you confirm that you "passed" the medicals I mean ye kasie pata chalta hai ?? I need to know about mine one too .... Can you tell me k ye kasie pata krr skty hain k whether you passed the medicals or not ??
By the way my medicals were uploaded on 18th of August 2014 !!
