I cannot imagine, that any country with a slight bit of concern for its reputation, can afford to behave in such a high handed fashion as canadian embassy here behaves. I dont have words to express my frustration, over my lost time, efforts, money, energy, emotion. Matter of the bitter fact is, we as country behave like clowns, and then we are treated the same way. Fiasco on our streets everyday. Split mandate, even vast majority of votes cant even be verified, and embassy expects our finger prints to be verified.

If you talking about ur employment verification,, its all depends on ur company response,,, and if u talking about ur scholarship,,, tou yeh ap ki soch hai kay canadian university nay sirf ap akaly ko scholarship grant ki hai,,, there are so many means thousands of students get scholarship every year from uni's plus government aur inko visa bhi mil jatay hai in days tou yeh sirf humari apni reputation kharab honay ki waja say kay hum pay log jaldi yakeen nahi kartay kay hum sach bol rahay hai

No, I am talking about the position that I have been chosen for. Only one seat open for competition, people from all countries eligible but I was chosen. It really is the best scholarship/funding I have ever achieved.

Ni i dont think this is the reason. Its just that the induction of biometric procedure and political fiasco gutted the whole process. I think, you should keep two things at priority. Of what i remember, your research supervisor has extended your joining date till December. Right? Now, you'd get your reply by end of september, at max. If its positive, great. God forbids, if it isnt, than atleast keep your financial statement of account that you have submitted with your application intact. And find a consultant to file your appeal. Even if u have to file an appeal, its decision will be out in couple of months, which means end of november, so u'd be able to go just the same. But find a consultant before you get your reply, just in case of any eventuality.

I know, but my uni will pay me up to $3000/month for 4 years. Plus, I do 20% teaching at BSc and MSc level, it will bring me more money. Hopefully they will offer me a job too after the research is over.
