I applied paper based on 13 april, biometrics done on same day on 64th day I received a medical email, now my medical is on 1st July. can anybody tell me why they need biometrics? the logic of medical requirement can be understood but why biometrics? someone told me that it is needed because if somebody commits a crime in Canada so they will be able to locate him/her... further , what are my visa chances??

You are right about biomet. Besides, your case seems like you are getting visa subject to medical clearance. Otherwise, they wouldnt have asked you for medical.

most of the online applicants (in Paki Watsapp group) did upfront medical and submitted..... well mostly it take minimum 2 months for requiring such medical ... hope for the best you will get soon inshAllah

My brother applied from islamabad and me from Lahore. Both are waiting for medical applied on 05-05-2015&08-05-2015 respectively
