Pakistanis Applying for student Visa for September 2015 intake!

Indian processing time is around ten days. For most cases. Just click on the link, it'd his open in new window. Online portal is supposed to be quicker and was actually quicker till 2013. A friend got his request processed in 28 days in 2013. It gradually went down the toilet aftrwards. Bandwidth allocation/SAP issues coupled with cut in HR. Visa officers went on strike in 2014 which delayed processing. Dont know whats the story this time around.

I think Visa Officers went on strike in 2013 not in 2014.

Yup you are right. It was in 2013 not 2014. I think then it may be biometric verification. They send it to country's law enforcement for verification. Or phir hamari police ki tou kya baat hay. It changed after june 2014 after they intoduced biometric requirement. Even the visas for people who applied prior to 1st june 2014, did get their visas in time in 2014.

Seems like a royal screw up. You should send the scanned copy of the same letter to the official e-mail of canadian enquiry portal of your country.

Hold tight. They'd eventually decide your application and let you know. Till such time you shouldnt worry. Whats average processing time in your jurisdiction?

It's 7 weeks...in the POE letter it is mentioned that my application has been approved..but now waiting for biometric letter and visa stamping

Yeah but Yasir this happens world over its not just Pakistan.
Thats why they have visa officers to see through this, so people are doing their jobs but the fact that we are paying a price becase the world wants to blame someone for terrorisim and we are the sscapegoat.... Call a spade a spade ...

emerald normally the indian's processing time for VISA mentioned in a CIC site is 4 weeks but recently two of my known indians forum fellow got VISA with IN 10 days..... and one of the guy is making panic that his processing time exceed from 10 days .... look how luckily they are getting VISAS

one of my frend from india will apply for VISA at the end of july .... i said bhasker yaar hosh kr... he said ...Seena chill VISA 10 din mai lag jyega
