I will say this to you guys feom personal experiance, it takes atleast 2 months for medical call if things go alright. And nearly the same anount if time after that for approval. Especially for ICM students.

bro me & my 3 of best friends applied togather on 05-11-2014 & recived our medical call after 15 days i mean on 20-11-2014.

Hello guys,

I am from Pakistan and planning to apply student visa on 15 december, My documents checklist is:

All Degrees and Transcripts (HSC and University)
Acceptance Letter
IELTS
SOP
CV
Student Visa Form
Affidavit of Support
Police character certificate
FRC
NIC English translation
Financial Proof Documents.

But i am little confuse in Financial Proof matter, as i have no cash in bank and i will only be submitting "Letter from National Saving Centre" and "Investment Certificates from bank"!!

Anyone can pls comment on case, is this sufficient or not??

did you pay your 1st semester fee?
if not then you should do that,
and off course you need to show the bank statement of your sponsor with enough funds to support your studies + bank covering letter. salary slips if employed & if bussines man the bussines profile letter ntn certificates.etc
this is the most common reason that the visa officer gives after recjecting applications.

Not yet.. please share your experience about winipeg & how's the college i have completed my medical a week ago. do you have an idea how much time does it take after medical to receive visa.

Can you tell us that what documents do we need at the POE? What documents immigration officer need to see from us for issuing study permit?

it takes minimum 12 to 14 days after medical.

normally it takes up to 2 weeks but both of my friend got their VISA in 8 days........
i am also waiting for response from chc. we only have to pray to ALLAH & wait for the response from chc........

Hey guys. Sorry for the late reply. Winnipeg is super cold at this time. And in jan it will go as far as -40 or more so pack your warmest clothes. And try to bring your own pillows and quilts. You have to wear layers of clothes to stay warm. Gloves and head gear are a must. Baqi its an awesome place.

Secondly. I wasn't asked for anything except my passport/visa at the poe. But everyone isnt always lucky and sometimes they ask for more. So be sure to take all your university docs, results, bank statement, police certificates etc. Hope you guys get your visas soon. I got mine 2 months after my medical.

Doc's Request.: when all original including and photocopied documents are sent then why request for document
File Transfer...: what do we mean by file transfer?

i have shown a finacial bank statement of 98,000 cad + some properties
