I have checked with Dollar east and they say that POF DD always make hassle there in Canada and take too much time to en-cash. Moreover they are charging very high rate of dollars for DD. Any alternative????

Good point, I have noticed Dollar East charges a lot higher rate (up to 1.50 Rs higher) since I got my application drafts made from them. Time to cash DD will be the same for anywhere, 20 days or so. I think it is wise to buy dollars at a good rate after checking from a few dealers and then make a DD on your name from your own account or somebody you know who has a USD account can make it for you. I am also thinking that DD is the safest option.

I'll second Markon on this.
Adding, when you make a bank draft that only be issued in CAN $ because by law BD can be issue only in local currency of that country.

Sir I am sure you can take a USD DD as well and submit in your Canadian Bank Account. I will do the same.

Take care on bank drafts, if the draft is drawn on a canadian bank and you open account in the same bank there then it will take 2 weeks to encash, if it is drawn on non canadian banks then 1 month.
Do not make drafts from any pakistan bank, as I know all will take a month to encash. from pakistan you can take 10,000$ per adult cash.
Open account on the first day, apply credit cards for both husband and wife on the first day itself preferably gold cards, you will need them. Banks are open 7 days of week and mostly untill 7 pm

Sir did you take USD or Canadian dollars ?

Drafts in Canadian, cash some canadian and some US, I will strongly say to take only canadian for both draft and cash, you can convert US to canadian but you will loose money, its better to convert in pakistan.
Moreover for cash prefer to ger new currency notes that are with a transparent portion in the middle and looks like plastic paper. in older type notes some fake are circulating around the world

Dear Friends,

Want to ask some things. I am a MPNP applicant with my spouse. My case is in London VO. And we did our meds in Oct 2012 which reached and updated on Ecas in Nov 2012. Now my close relative who signed my Affidavit of Support (in the beginning) also wants to apply for another person's application. (which means two applications under process from one Citizen of Canada) My question is that can a person (Canadian Citizen) apply for more than one applications at a time. Can it affect my case or not. And is it a wise idea to apply two applications at a time.

Secondly as my meds reached VO early Nov 2012. Now in a week it will be a month. Can i ask them about the current status of my case will it be good for me to ask them. As the next step i m waiting is the PPR.

My uncle sponsored 3 applicant at a time, and they all were processed, only Saskatchewan (SINP) recently put some obligation in this matter, rest of provinces are all good. So, there is no issue, just read MPNP websit for updates if there is any change in last month because in November 2012 a meeting was held regarding PR programs under the supervision of Federal Minister immigration Jasson Kenny.
Note: if there is any restriction regarding this matter, your file or case will not be effected, just they will refuse or hold on (If there is any restriction) the new application. You are safe in any matter.
