Dear Forum Members,
Currently I am outside of Pakistan and waiting for PPR. My medical is going to expire by March 16, 2013.

I need a suggestion:
I want to visit Pakistan for month by mid of Dec. But I am not sure when will I get PPR.
I am confused whether should I cancel my visit to Pakistan or go to Pak. In case of visiting Pakistan means that i cann't send my passport by mid of Jan 2013.

Should I stay here and wait for PPR or I can visit Pakistan?

What you guys suggest??

Correct, I got same information from my travel agent, so this should be true.
We know about size/weight of Hand Carry, what about the size of a suitecase with 23 KG? I am asking because clothings and necessary items are expensive in Canada and we must carry them from Pakistan, and that needs extra suitecases to be purchased. We are a family of four. Any thoughts/comments/research by someone?
I also heard people suggesting to take cartons and through them away instead of buying a number of suitecases that becomes useless after a single use. I also think of soft trolly bags available at Metro, light wieght to carry more items? But again cost saving should be the first priority.

If you are traveling through Emirates we can exceed the weight from 23kg to 32kg by paying 60 dollars and for separate piece of 23 kg the charges are 175 dollars.Do not follow what your travel agent has to say inquire yourself on phone from Emirates inquiry. Usually Emirates allow 2 suite cases but it all depends on your itenary of your ticket.

Any idea about the Protector for Emigrants from Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment (www.beoe.gov.pk). It is necessary to acquire this service. Please share your experiences.

There is no need for protector ,it is only needed for the persons going for the job to some other country, but in your case you are not going there for the job, but immigrating and after some time u will get the nationality inshallah.this is my personal openion please make it confirm from other members and especially from sir qorax

Photo copies are acceptable as long as they are readable but I don't understand why you want to send a color photocopy? In my opinion make it simple and black and white should do the job. Also send signature page because passport is not valid without that. Thanks

It takes roughly a month from PPR1. If your letter/email date is 31st Oct, you should be getting PPR2 at around 30th Nov. May be 2-3 days earlier.

What is required at signature place of children passport?
