Hello there.

I am filling my express entry profile. Please help me to fill the education and work history section.

I have done Internship in Siemens and Civil Aviation Authority. Furthermore, in the past I have worked for a private firm for almost 15 months from April 2013 to june 2014. However, they don't give me points for work experience since it doesn't fall in the NOC I am applying for. Do I have to mentioned them? If I exclude all of them, I will only have my current job which is from july 2014 to present.

Filling my express entry profile. Do I need to provide my school and college education history i.e. 10 and 12 standard? or my masters and bachelors are enough?

I have already assessed my educational documents from WES and my equivalency is Masters degree.

Looking forward to a positive response form your end.

Best Regards,
Uzair

Include only those things for which you want to claim points, no extra information as it may confuse your visa officer.

Do I need to provide my school and college education history i.e. 10 and 12 standard? or my masters and bachelors are enough? you have to provide scan copies of original certificates/degrees for only those for which you have claimed points through Education Credential Assessment (ECA).

I have already assessed my educational documents from WES and my equivalency is Masters degree. Great!!! select the same option in Express entry profile.

Hello guys,
I submitted my post ITA application on 29th Feb. At that time CAD to PKR was 77.5. At the time of AOR, when I submitted my application my bank statment showed the amount 100 CAD in access of the required POF limit. Now the CAD has gone over 78. I have deposited some extra amount in my account, so that I may not go below the limit. Do I need to send CSE with updated bank statment to the CIC? Please help. Im a bit confused

Akber

You are most welcome.

Hopefully you should hear back in the next two months.

I haven't seen outland applications from Pakistan processed any faster (than the standard 6 months time) nor are they CEC. So likely some time April. Of course (and I hope) you could get lucky and get it done sooner. But there is no way to predict that.

But I would say this, at least it is through with basic hurdles causing refusal. That time is passed. So I at least expect an R10 okay on your notes. A11 or similar, only time will tell.

Good luck

Hi fkl,
there is one pakistani guy who got the PPR in 1.5 months. He is a provincial nominee. His name is Jahanzaib. He often comes on the forum

Dears,

My AOR date is 8th of October 2015, since that there is no update / progress on my application. My status is showing "Review in progress", background check: not started. 6th month has started without any updated, not sure if this is normal with all Pakistani applicants as I can see the average processing time is 2 to 3 months for other nationalities.

Your feedback will be appreciated.

Regards,
Aamir

I have the same status in my application, although my AOR is 23nd January 2016. I did some searching on this forum regarding the 'BG Check not started' situation, and a lot of people are saying its normal. Some have even said they recieved PPR while status of BG check was 'Not started'

Hey Akber,

Wow - that's super fast. Never heard of it. Even it took me longer from inside Canada and being CEC. But I have seen such cases from India too.

Usually single applicant, much younger, very little travel history / work profile and possibly having applied before and refused due to cap or something, would have background already processed or something are likely reasons.

But that's good news. Let's hope we see more of such cases.

One side effect is that you get much more time to plan landing since COPR isn't valid beyond medicals expiry which is one year - unless some does them again.

Guys,
I`m new to the forum and preparing my documents and stuff to apply for the EE. I`m in process of completing the basic requirement for setting up the profile.

I have a small query, I`ve done my educational credential assessment and applying for IELTS. I want to know if my spouse who`s not the prime applicant also requires to get her credential assessed and get IELTS score at this stage or not.

Its not mandatory for your spouse
But, if you need to score more then you have to get your spouse ECA and IELTS.

Hello all,

I submitted my application to CIC on December 03, 2015 and received AOR on the same day. Now I received PPR on March 01, 2016 and submitted my passport to VFS lahore office on March 04, 2016. Does anyone know what is the average time to get my and my spouse's passports back? in PPR they wrote they require 4 weeks to return passports back (I know this time period they are saying is in general term), but out of anxiety, I am worried can someone please tell me when will I get passports back?

If you want to raise your CRS score than you must get ECA and IELTS for your spouse as well. In short, it will allow you to boost your CRS score :)

Don't worry. CIC knows this happens and it shouldn't be a concern.

MASHALLAH your case was super fast for Pakistani Candidates. If you don't mind, from which province did yo get nominated? and your NOC? Also, was it your 1st application?
