Pakistani applicants - file transfer

Hi guys,

People who applied in Nov/Dec of 2018, have their files been transferred to London visa office yet?

None from January on-wards, that we know. It has already been 6 MONTHS !

It doesn't seem like we are going to meet the 12 month timeline, given that London almost always asks for additional proofs, and that files have not even been transferred yet, and it's going to be a lot of backlog even when it does happen.

My spouse is pakistani though his country of current residence is uae. We r feb applicant. Still waiting for file transfer. Dnt knw if his file will get trnsfrd to abudhabi or london.

Abu Dhabi does not process permanent residency cases, it's been London for whole of Middle east and Pakistan since 5 years.

Many other applicants have already received their PPRs while complete silence on Pakistani applicants.

Thanks.. so we r most prob waiting for london visa office. N on top of that our case is little complicated. Cant do anythng except waiting

All they do is tell us that it's within 12 months to shut us up.

I think it can be termed as discrimination for sure, because its related to one particular nationality and not an individual file.

And you do know that if they ask for additional docs that means they can exceed 12 months limit, because your file doesn't stay 'normal' anymore. London gets files after like 8/9 months of AOR, then they open file near 12 month mark, ask for additional docs because THEY ARE NOT SATISFIED, and that's it, now they can process in 4 years and no one can ask them anything.


I already emailed once. if all of hundreds of Pakistani applicants email, it will create an impact. I want us all to email immigration minister together.

N yeah i feel you. I am indian but pa is pakistani so his file being not transferred alongwith all other pakistanis makes me feel too that its probably related to nationality. Will do my bit of emailing too.

Nothing December onwards, which means at least 7-8 months just for transferring to LVO
We should be expecting at least 14-18 months. Unless of course, being LUCKY.
