These statements are facts that can be validated. But then the real question now is this... Is any of the Citizens and Immigrations top offcicers listening? I really do not know the answer to that questions... So the best, we can do now is wait and hope all goes well. After that, once we get to Canada, we can "light the Candle" (Make a positive difference). This is exactly what I plan to do.. And I am sure some of us will also want to so same - "MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE"
Yeah, I agree with you, but what would you prefer "to light the candle and make positive difference" sooner or later?
Who benefits from current situation when immigration process takes years?
Immigrants? No. They are wasting their most productive years in this process. And these precious years will never come back. Years that they and their families could use better for building their new life in Canada and integrating in canadian society and workforce.
Canadian economy and society? No. They need skilled workers, investors, entrepreneurs to "make difference" and contribute now. Not several years after. Not when those skills which were in demand at time when immigration started, probably not needed anymore at the time when immigrant was granted a visa.
This situation with very long processing time did not started yesterday. It lasts for many many years already. What have been done to address this problem?
They threw away 300 000 applications and stopped whole immigration program for 1 year. What kind of solution is that?!
It sends very clear signal that interests and workload of bureaucrats who are administrating immigration program are more important that immigration program itself and it can be sacrificed completely to cover their lousy work.
When I was saying that PAFSO is a small group of self-serving bureaucrats, I meant it.
They always have been part of the problem, never part of solution.
Starting the strike, they knew upfront very well what a huge damage they are going to make to their country, their economy, their society and hundreds of thousands of affected innocent people in Canada and around the world, who had nothing to do with their fight.
Knowing this,it did not stopped them. All they cared was money and their sick understanding of "fairness" or simply their envy of other bureaucrats making better living then they do, while most of Canadians could not even dream of their salaries and benefits.
Canada in many ways is a great country, but they have worst visa processing system and most ineffective visa officers in the world.
