outland spouse sponsorship versus visitor visa

Hi folks,

I am going to get married in a month and am now trying to see what the best way is to bring my wife to Canada as soon as possible. I have familiarized myself with outland spouse sponsorship, but now wonder if I can also apply for a visitor visa so she can join me here faster? If yes, which sequence is the right way: spouse sponsorship first and visitor visa later or inverse?
