Outland sponseship papers sent to Bucharest

Please I have applied for my husband for family sponsorship. I was accepted as his sponsor then his papers were sent to Bucharest although we applied from Jordan.

Since february our status did not change however only a couple of weeks my status was changed to decision made and his status in process I wonder do you think we will be hearing good news soon.

You can look at the processing times on the CIC website:

The times are not an average, so probably your application will be done more quickly than the 13 months they listed. However, complicated applications could take more time. It is impossible to say for sure how long it will take.

Hi Zeanal,

There is an amman thread somewhere in this forum and you'll find there that there's actually a lot of members that have had their files transferred to Romania. I guess it was the Ammans office way of letting us know that they had too much backlog. If you want, take a look at the amman thread and see what the other members are going through in terms of additional documents and what not
