There is no need to order note every 2 weeks.

Our file was transferred to SVO in July 2013. We ordered the 1st note in January 2014.
The note showed that SVO updated our story and their concerns in the system in Sep 2013.
Then we ordered the 2nd note in early April 2014, this time we got same information as the first one :((

Our ecas went to in process on May 12, my husband submitted pp on May 26. I also ordered the 3rd note on that day. Still waiting

Hello everyone

I am back again for more questions :)

"We started processing application on May 27, 2014."

They sent a mail to my wife in Vietnam.
They ask her to do a Medicial Examination/Original Good Conduct Certificate/ take 4 passport-sized photo/IMM 5669 Schedule A Background/ Declaration form/ hand-in Original passport.
...............................................................................

my wife asked 1 of her friend that also been through the same thing as her.
Her friend said that IOM will take care of everything and they will charge $499 US....I wonder if that is true or it can be done without spending?

I have done that IMM 5669 Schedule A Background/ Declaration form before and by the look at it, its pretty easy.

Original Good Conduct Certificate takes up to 2-3 weeks.

my wife also worry that they will interview her.
its true that if they ask you to do a medical examination that mean they are not doing an interview?

I heard some say that interview normally come before the Medical Examination?

After all of these steps how long she has to wait to get her Visa?

please help :)

thank you

Usually if they ask for medical exam, that means interview not required, but I wouldn't count on that 100% just yet, I would order GCMS notes one last time to confirm.

The only service you need from IOM is the Medical Exam around 100$ USD and use their service to send your final package to Singapore which is around 40$ USD.

The rest of the required document can be done by yourself.
At this point, there should be not interview. if you read the email you should read something like "Your application is at it's final stage and before entering to Canada you must do a medical exam bla bla .."

It took us 3 weeks to receive back Passport with VISA stamped and CORP

thank you so much everyone hopefully there no interview....but at least we know what to do now. :) :D

Hi everyone,

I just went to visit my spouse for 3 weeks. And now I'm wondering if I need to send SVO our new proofs to prove our relationship is continuing after our application was submitted?

Not over yet, your wife still needs to pass at the Canadian Security Border before entering in Canada and they can refuse her if they think her information, health have issues ... but normally things should be fine but do not celebrate until she pass this security border and they signed the CORP :)

Just got update today through IOM tracking number that my wife's passport is on it's way back. So, hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday she can pick it up from IOM.
