Ottawa Office forwarded my Application to Buffalo AGAIN !!!

Since March 21st, I didn't try Catherine yet, as I am still within the standard time.

Did you contact her? has she answered you? i don't want to look nagging, as they log any correspondence in the file.

well i don't think they all log auto generated correspondence to the file, i contacted her and she replied very fast and said my file needs to go to Ottawa-CPP for additional background checks but my file was already in Ottawa. That's not i am sure when the file get transfered to Ottawa-CPP after she sent me email or after they received my medical (in orde to count how many months more i need to wait, it has already been 17months to my PR application and it is under PNP Ontario). I contacted only once and she replied, she looks like nice lady and i don't think there is any harm. If they haven't touch your file since it get back from Ottawa she will at least know of it and will take an action accordingly.

In a request and humble language just explain her the file is bening transfered to Buffalo from OTtawa in march and GCMS notes says its ready for visa formalities but you didn't hear anything from buffalo since then. here is her email: Catherine.bailey@international.gc.ca

they no longer do in-person services, we will have to mail the passport, so we will have to wait like you. They are working on centralize the process, Buffalo office is closed and no longer receive application, all aplications have been transferred to CPP-O again.

I have taken the email I sent to Catherine, and forwarded it to CPP-O. I am fed up of all these major changes.

Did you get any response from Catherine? and who told you buffalo office is closed? and Ottawa-CPP don't issue visa or passport stamping service they are just processing centre,for passport stamping they send to different visa offices.

Hi shaikhaffi,

I didn't hear from Catherine, and I don't expect to hear after this news.

It has been announced yesterday on Buffalo website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/buffalo.asp. I am not if they will let CPP-O do the stamping or will use Sydney office.

Was your application in Buffalo?

I don't know it might be something good to speed up the process.
